takes forever to get good cards

user interface is kindve a clusterfuck

It's easily the best YGO game ever made.

Weaknesses: the fucking logo that they splattered on all the card art in the game.

They never did that before but they did it in this one. That's literally the only flaw with this game, otherwise it's a 10/10 YGO game. It has a massive amount of content for only 20 bucks.

Yes, OP, it is.
It perfectly satisfies your nostalgia while also bridging the gap between old school YGO and the pre-link meta in a fun way to bring old players up to speed. The only flaw was that it wasn't continually updated as VRAINS came out.

How to fix game:
Only allow Series 1 cards.
The end.

Why does that (girl?) on the right have horns growing out of her head???

>Weaknesses: the fucking logo that they splattered on all the card art in the game.
>They never did that before but they did it in this one.
Kind of understandable. No other game has such HQ card art as this, it's even higher resolution than the real cards for fucks sake.

And I love it. I always hated in the older games like the PSP version that the art was so shitty. I really like reading the lore and looking at the art and use my imagination.

Only flaw is that it lacks 3D monsters like PS1. If they implemented that it would be 20/10.

*equips axe of desire to summoned skull*
WOAH

>weakness
No paleozoics

So I had a little time off the office and I put up to date with the anime God those awful last 20 episodes of Arc-V but I haven't been able to understand how links work, I know that it fucked Pendulum/XYZ/Fusion/Synchro but how? is hter some place where I can red how links work?

The Tag Force series are the best ygo games hands down

>Only allow Series 1 cards
Ah yes, I too enjoy the likes of Yata-Lock and Makyura OTK.

It's too fucking slow in pretty much every aspect. Speed up card acquisition, user interface, and the goddamn duel speed.
Good bait friend. Have another (you).

>le axe of despair maymay
remember kids, its literally impossible to counter a face up equip spell and a normal tribute summon monster.

Ygopro > TagForce > duel links

Those three are the only ones worth playing

Ah so I should just go to

>weaknesses

>tfw no tagforce for Links

Konami better use bomberman money to make another Tagforce.

It hurts to play because it could have been THE Yu-Gi-Oh! game if they had just bothered to support it

>tfw you can't INTO ZA VURAINSSSSSSSSSSSS

there's not much reason for playing single player after beating once and the multiplayer was dead on arrival, at least in the old tagforce there was a feeling of progression since the game incentivate you to get the cards and create your own deck and there was a story with your partner

Card opening is the most dull, mind numbing shit. It's slow, it lacks flash, and the rates are retarded.

it could have been if it was f2p duel links will always be n1 because it is

Yusaku is the best thing since the autistic fucker Yusei, I'm really diggin Yu-Gi-Oh Flashbacks_ the season.

Every single fucking deck runs Mirror Force
Every.
Single.
Deck.
EVEN FUCKING DON THOUSAND, ALIEN CARD GAME MAGIC JESUS WITH HYPER ADVANCED CARDS USES IT

i am not gonna read that lol

>its the Teafag posted it again, Mom! episode
WoD is better 9/10 unless you need to a way to lower your life points.

O-op here.
I-i j-just w-wanted to ask y-you g-guys w-what you think a-about that game I've s-saw. I-im n-new to Yu-gi-Oh.

I s-sincerely a-apolize that my t-thread o-offended you s-senpai.

Alright motherfuckers post your Ace monster

Tell me, what's wrong with Mirror Force? That's right, nothing. It's the perfect card.

shit scratch thought I thought you said Mirror Wall.

It's good and it will teach you how to play the game up to xyz shit. You're gonna have to learn how to pendulum and link yourself. But you'll know the bases at least.

what about the difficulty curve?
How far will an unalterated first deck carry me in the campaign?

I've sworn to change by deck only when it is absolutely necessary and the game requires it, or else it would break the difficulty with all the OP DLC cards.

...

I don't think he was ever usable, but fuck if I don't like him anyways.

When are they going to make a mirror force that just automatically makes you win when your opponent attacks?

About link summoning.
Firstly, the field is slightly different. Now there are 2 extra monster zones in the middle of the field, one for each player. These are the only places that extra deck monsters can go without the use of link summoning.
To link summon, all you need to do is send monsters equal to the link monster's LINK value, which is where its DEF would normally be. Link monsters also have summon requirements printed in the text box just like fusion and synchro monsters.
Once you summon a link monster, the monster zones that the filled-in arrows around the art frame are pointing to become "linked." This means that you can now summon extra deck monsters to those zones.
Link monsters also can never be put into defense position or flipped face down.

They give you story decks

Wait, Jinzo DOESN'T negate Solemn?

So the pendulum zone is off, and you can only have a monster from your extra deck at the time?

the game always give you a deck with cards the character used that moment and if you lose they give you the trick on how to beat the opponent with it.

The pendulum zones got pushed into the spell and trap card zones. So if you set your scales you can only have 3 other backrow.
Without link monsters you will only be able to have one extra deck monster on the field at a time. This also effects pendulum monsters summoned from the Extra deck.
So now instead of synchro/xyz/pendulum spam, it's link monster spam with some big extra deck cards added in

So it is NEVEr necessary to create your own deck? Would it be harder or easier to play with your own deck?

Now if you want to make the bunch of monsters in one turn combo you NEED link monsters, the monster zones they point become the extra monster zone needed for the combos. Pendullum summoning is still a thing but now they are actually put in the magic zone, so if you want to do it you will lose two slots for next trap and magic cards

>I've assembled all five pieces
>...and set them face down, ending my turn

So they restricted all the other methods to hell and back to push links?

it's always easier building your own deck, but in each stage they let you play the hero the villain side and with each of their decks, usually the hero side is really easy but the villain deck is way too luck based to win

Yeah pretty much. Kinda need Link monsters now if you want to be competitive, which means buying them if you don't play on a sim or something.

The patrician's choice is streamlining that base deck

Ok thanks for clearing that up. One last question.
Do the DLCs contain significantly strong cards, or can the strongest be found only in the game?

Its pretty good. Online isnt dead if u just add steam friends. Weakness is no new cards :(

as far as I know a good amount of cards from the dlc are possible to get by farming the campaign, dunno if there are broken ones are locked by cash
