Just look up any normie "top 10 mmo's" list and every single one will more than likely be a single player affair. As far as non-mmos go: FFXV just got a multiplayer monster hunter esque dlc you could get into. Killing floor 2 is pretty good for quickly playing with others without communication. I'm pretty much in the same boat and gonna off myself after christmas.

FF11 is basically FF12 but online and you can solo the story with AI companions
22 jobs to pick from and can change on the fly and combine with a subjob for more versatility

Im on the same boat. Bought Xenoblade 2 and FF12 looking for a satisfying single player mmo kinda thing but i cant get into either, especially xenoblade, its awful! Im usually not picky about games. Should i continue ff12, try xeno2 again or maybe pick up ff14 or ff11 OR maplestory again? Or any other single player mmos?

Grinding isn't going to fill the niche.

Private servers are very low pop. There's probably 2 top pop servers with around 150. Retail has many servers that are similar (200-800) with one English server and one Japanese server being 1500-2500 throughout the day.

Not to mention that private servers are often buggy and have corrupted admins. There still isn't a private server out there that has a fully working PUP kit.

I used to play Marvel Heroes a few years ago. I only played it because I love capeshit and needed something to distract myself from life, but it worked pretty well. Maybe Diablo 3 or something will help.

Pretty much modern WoW, lots of autismos like you cried enough to make it a single player experience.

Old school Runescape, my man. I pretty much created a new account out of the blue and started to work towards finishing all f2p quests without even talking to anyone. It was a pretty comfy experience and it's weird how it's so much easier to grind for exp nowadays.

Some people get a kick out of playing single player games based on MMO mechanics. Xenoblade is a series all about it.

I'm even partially autistic enough to play semi-grindy games and I couldn't stand this one long. A real damn shame.

Oldschool Runescape, avoid RS3. I usually don't reccommend it, but play Ironman mode since you want a singleplayer expierence. It cuts out all the player interaction stuff as a hardcore type of mode.

If games don't make you happy, maybe try other hobbies?
I started motorcycling a few years ago. I don't play as many games now. But I ride my bike, and it's a lot of fun. I genuinely enjoy myself when I do it, and when I play games, I have less time to do it. So I am more motivated to get stuff done.

Sure I spend the winter with no bike, but I can catch up on the games I missed and pick a couple up during the winter steam sale.

You don't have to quit games, just do something that's not gaming, so you enjoy gaming more.

ToS is dungeon and quest based, if you played like 2 years ago when the game was incomplete your arguments are just not in touch with reality anymore.

If anything, the biggest issue is the shrinking community, the shitty launch left a permanent stigma and when people ask about it, the first ones to come out are the icbt2 shitters rambling about it as if they knew what they were talking about.

There's fucking guides on youtube on how to get to max level in 12 hours with a new account, grinding isn't an issue for anybody anywhere, and even in fucking beta stages it was slow but not unreasonable, not even close to the grindiest of games, unless you fags come from 100x rate servers on ragnarok and fell you've played them all or something.
