Whats the longest gaming session you've done?

Whats the longest gaming session you've done?

Like, 30 minutes.

I played WoW for 8 hours straight

Persona 5. 14 hours.

8 hours. It was some random SNES game in an emulator. My house was being renovated and I had nowhere else to go that day and nothing else to do, so I decided to pick a game and beat it in one sitting. This was years ago.

last time Odyssey for 9 hours
BotW before that for 12 hours

Probably about 30 hours on FFXI doing nothing but grinding exp with almost the same group the whole time. I think we only replaced 1 or 2 people.

24hours of dragon's dogma DA on ps3. It was fall, rainy/breezy outside but not too breezy. Opened my window, made some popcorn, started a new character and got to BBI in 24hrs. Was a good comfy day

I recall playing a game for 12 hours straight but I can't remember what it was

I also spent 9 hours playing SSBB with my brother. We played until 7:00am

2 whole fucking days with The Talos Principle.

Fuck if I know. 18 hours maybe.

I spent 15 hours last weekend playing Endless Space though. That level is pretty common for me.

Go to bed, Ryan.

30 something hours the day of MoP's release.

Ten hours straight when agar.io was the thing. Maybe one piss break in middle. The Tetris effect was real.

Literally who

28 years

Agario is shit now. I remember it being funny back in Jan 2016 when

As in actual 48 hours in a row with only bathroom breaks and getting food?

12 hours
Breath of the Wild

10 hours Pokemon Gold

Miss those days

30 fucking minutes lmoa i'm such a nerd. i thought my eyes were going to fall out of my skull. don't do it kids. it's extremely bad for you.

I played TF2 for 15 hours straight

Warlord's of Draenor launch.
Some stupid cunt I hated in my guild wouldn't shut the fuck up for an entire month about how she'd be the first level 100 in the guild.

Denying her that dream made my otherwise empty life feel momentarily worthwhile.

I remember playing tf2 for 10 hours straight when the first halloween event hit, in a friend's basement trying to get all the event achievements. Those were the times.

I also played twilight princess for 6 hours straight right when I got it and my mom got really mad at me

If I had to guess, bathroom/food breaks included, probably 24 hours on pic related.

I remember playing spyro from about 8am to about 11pm when i was a kid, i had to stop because i got a massive headache. In recent time i put about 14 hours into mario odyssey and i got the same excruciating headache :(

It was either 12 hours of Guild Wars 2 or recently I had one weekend where I played Persona 5 from the moment I woke up to when I went to bed. Don't recall how long it was specifically but it might have been 12 hours.

36 hours. patroling reynard and ev before a ms war in sco to stop mgears from getting there, logging out and cohing people in during the war. that was before they made it so that logging out automatically towned you.

How can you spend that much time on fucking Spyro? Even as kid each game was max 6-7 hours to 100%

Have you thought about going to a doctor for these headaches?

i probably did 10-12 hrs in FFXI a few times. sky farming

I played ARK every day for 8+ hours a day for 3 or 4 weeks, with the longest session being around 22 hours. The rest of my clan kept leaving for work or sleep and coming back to see me still logged on, and I was a large factor in our growth to become top dogs on the server. Fun times, I miss ARK. Too bad the devs killed it.

Endless Space can consume so many hours of my day so easily.

I know nothing about you or her, yet I'd like to thank you for doing that.

When what?

8 hours terraria

Your heroic deed shall be lauded through the ages

68 hours playing CS 1.6

thanks for the free cringe user

I always wanted to try Ark out but I absolutely cannot stand Scifi elements in a sandbox game. Makes it seem so worthless to me, would be better if it was all medieval fantasy technology.

i aim to please

16 hour nethack game

cringe thread?
cringe thread

Cringe would be white-knighting and offering to grind her character for her when she had to go offline. Fuck off kiddo

i did hl1 in one sitting while involuntarily fasting while we had no money for food. through this privation i ascended to nirvana.

hey guys im a 16-year old edgelord and i use the word cringe for anything that isn't rad or cool

Lords of shadow 1. My parents went out since 7am to 9pm. I was sick so they told me not to play. 14 ours exploring, getting trophies and shit. I was so happy with that game

I was a kid so a lot of it was exploring, plus i didnt have a strategy guide or internet
No cos it only ever happens when i play video games for waaaay too long, which doesnt happen very often

Please, that was a typical day for me back in high school.

I remember going to a SSBB release at gamestop and they had a tournament there for a game a lot of us had never played and we had to use wii motes. The winner of the tournament got a free copy of the game. I remember even though like 40 people were there only 8 of us signed up for the tourney. I ended up winning as Mario because the faggot I was against tripped and fell right into a charged smash attack. It was there I immediately knew that SSBB was going to be the worst Smash game. I ended up getting my copy for free a few hours before the game actually released. My buddies and I stayed up all night until the morning the next day just unlocking characters and doing versus mode.

>if you're too sick to go to school, you're too sick to play games!

...

ive spent whole days doing nothing but hosting solo in darkroot forest 1v2ing blues

I suppose you don't understand how satisfying it is to put someone in their place when they won't shut up about how much better they will do than you or everyone else.

Played XB2 for about 8 hours last night

Well it was on vacations and was sick before that day. I felt ok so I decided to play

18 hours a day for two weeks straight only took brakes for food and toilet. Mum forced me out of my room.

38 hours straight grinding the fucking weapon in ff14.

I kept trying to do 24 hours but I always fall asleep.

There's some merit to it. I remember my parents were the, no school, no games kind of parents, but I reasoned that if the game was calming enough with no action then surely it'd be a healing experience. Either they bought it, unlikely, or they realized that I was going to play regardless and it'd be too much trouble to stop and monitor me otherwise, most likely.

>cringe
Go back to plebbit.

Doing the 7 days survival achievement on dead rising on console
13 hours later Xbox shut down and never tried ever again until steam release

Nier automata. Idk exactly but I'd say 14 hours? I went through endings B-E in one sitting. I was going to stop at C but then C's end credit intro (or was it B's end credit) just pushed me towards the end

There was an old PS1 game called Loaded or some shit. I forgot why, but for some reason we couldn't save, either because we lost the memory card or because the game just couldn't be saved. Regardless my buddy and I made it our goal to clear the entire game with no deaths in just one go. It took us 17 hours of straight playing, but we did it. I remember towards the end of the final hour I was getting so sleepy that I was playing the game just with sound because I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Noice, my brother got SSBB for Christmas and we pretty much played and played until New Year's. When I catch up with him these days we would still have a few rounds sometimes. There's something so comfy about spending time with your friends and unlocking every single thing you can get in the Smash Bros games.

I played MGSV for like 14 hours straight the day it launched, then for the next week I played 7 hours + 30 minute break + 7 hours a day, which is what I do everytime I get a big game I'm extremely excited for.

Normally I struggle to play most games for three hours straight though, after about two and a half hours I always I feel a bit drained and have to go get food to stuff my fat fucking face while watching YouTube videos for 20 minutes before getting back to the game.

Over the course of 7 days I played 45 hours of Persona 5

23 hours and 30 minutes with GTA SA

Same but for persona 4
When I was playing p3, I got through around 50 hours in a week
70 in a week for mh4u

You did that on purpose, didn't you? Why didn't you play the last 30 mins

Continuous? 40 hours at a LAN party. No sleeping, no piss breaks either. I was much younger then, I'd probably have to rest now. Definitely take a leak.

>45 hours

That's nothing, I put over 100 hours into fallout 4 in the first week after it launched and regretted every minute of it.

I played borderlands 2 for 26 hours

34 hours with a short shower in the middle. Hygiene is important.

My first playtrough of zelda albw. From beginning to end in like 20-22 hours, maybe including collecting every of these seasnail things.

EVE Online, 35 hours. Once CTA's up, noone's going home until it's all ogre.

Yep

I played Jak 2 non-stop from the beginning all the way up to the infamous jet bike delivery mission that is incredibly difficult and has ass-tight timing. All because I forgot my memory card at my grandma's. By the point that I finished the mission, the morning light was up and I couldn't go on anymore.

Technically i've had longer sessions, but I don't count them because they were both me falling asleep upon meeting the President in MGS2

minus a few piss breaks Prison Architect for 16 hours

Oh yeah I drove 18 hours in one day with only a 30 minute break (aside from refilling the gas tank)

i don't really remember. it's been years. might have just been that i got too tired to continue

How is a shower more important than sleep to you? My first thought after being up for 18 hours straight isn't," oh I need a shower", it's "I'm kinda tired, I should go to bed".

62 Hours playing EQ in a Frenzied camp in LGUK.

I pulled a couple of allnighters with my friends back in high school playing Lineage 2

Sometimes getting in those good groups would be a detriment to real life health. Spending hours upon hours just getting shitty groups and then finally getting a good one, you feel like you had to squeeze as much time out of them as you could. Leaving just meant you were thrown to the wolves again.

At least 12 hours on Skyrim. Load screens got so long after doing so much I used to take naps during them.

fuck I remember I played almost 20 hours of an MMO once and passed out for a couple minutes just to wake up and see my character was still alive and that I was somehow still pressing shit while unconscious.

hello

3 days straight playing Ragnarok Online.

My buddy and I had a 3 day wekend playing WoW with the occasional Resistance break. But we slept a little during it.

The longest without sleeping was like an 18 hour lan party with some bros.

Once when I was super depressed while I was unemployed during a bad winter I went around 30 hours straight playing new vegas on console with only one break about halfway in to pee.

Funny thing was I didn't realize it while playing, the bad weather, early nights and late mornings of winter combined with a street light two houses down meant the light filtering in from the curtains whenever I would glance away never went brighter or darker than "kinda dim".

34 hours straight in the JC2O beta. I don't remember most of it except for me shooting people at spawn eventually ended up in a 30 a side death match 2 hours later at the ski lodge with mostly snipers and jets. Fuck that was fun.

someone plesase explain to me why when i was kid lets say 10-15 i could play video games for HOURS ON HOURS im talking like 9 hours no breaks, now im 20 and can hardly play for 2 hours at a time :(

15 hours of Grinding in a Terrible MMO (Which looked promising at first)

Her name was ArchAge

my korean nigga

Installed and finished Max Payne 3 in a single sitting, 8 hours. I was unbelievably hooked with the gameplay. It felt so good. So right. And it ran on my toaster. God bless.

probably 12h in AoE3 LAN party with my bros back in 2013 new year eve, I think.

I'm not Korean, but I did play with a Korean who bitched out 2 days in.

36 hours of glorious crackdown co-op fun. I remember not being able to find the food on my plate that night. I was out of it.

It's just a phase. It's comming back. I'm 22 now and after 1 year of tired gamer I can now play through the whole night again.
