Yeah the first Silent Hill movie was not perfect, but it captured the essence of SH pretty decently. It had ils moments and very good visuals.
I would also say Prince of Persia. Not a masterpiece by any means, but a nice action movie.

The Prince of Persia movie was alright, one of the best video game adaptations, but completely forgettable.
The best one is clearly Mortal Kombat even without blood. They were pretty aware of how ridiculous the whole concept is, but still managed to take themselves and the world serious.
