We all love creature designs (at least I hope so. What sort of a loser doesn't find those interesting?), but what's your favorite type of a monster? I have a soft spot for anything skeletal, from normal ass skeletons, to skeletal centaurs and skeletal orcs to skeletal giants and dragons. However my absolute favorite monster is the Flail Snail, shame I never saw it in a video game before.

What do you think it feels like to get hugged by a ground squid?
Just asking for a friend.
All kinds of aberrations and eldritch horrors, but these guys especially.
probably not as bad as encountering a brain mole
looks like a water version of a Mind Flayer.
I know it's double posting, but I have to share this image with you guys.
Don't die yet. This is a creature from "World of Synnibarr" RPG

Can an armadillephant get leprosy?
doubt leprosy exists in Faerun. At least nothing is mentioned here:

for what purpose?
I really like the concept of gazers, i hate that D&D has basicly made them impossible to have in most vidya.
copyright issues or are they too OP for most games?
venom sacks
i think it's copyright issues, i remember somehwerei heard wizards of the coast are very protective about beholders, you can't name them beholders for one, if you do the design too similar they'll sue your ass.
I've seen Beholders in Dragon's dogma and dungeon siege, dunno where those things appear as enemies but they are cool.
Anyways bone dragons are one of my favorite things ever, and it's sad it's rare to see them done right.
Pretty sure Beholders, Mind Flayers and a couple other races are strictly D&D's copyright.
>dungeon siege
Shit nigga, thanks for reminding me of this game, it was great.
i've yet to finish the expansion.
2 is really neat, i have a pet scorpion and i feed it bows for extra ranged damage.
