Already played the hd version on the ps3 and don't plan on buying it again. Though I wish everyone that is fortunate enough to experience it for the first time to have a lot of fun! It's a great game for cold winter days.

PS2 emulated version was pretty shit last time I tried, too much blur and ghosting. Will buy this if it's a good port. The bloom looked pretty weird in some of the footage I saw though.

No one cares about oshitkami. The artstyle blinding everyone doesn't deflect from the fact that the gameplay is really mediocre boring garbage. Okami is probably the adventure game with the worst game flow since the battles are fought in a JRPG esque separate arena all with result screen included and you need to stop all the time to fix something in the environment for good boy points.

Doesn't help that the game is ridiculously long for barely anything happening.

God it looks way too clean and sharp.
The original on CRT made things look a bit washed up, which fit the painting aesthetic a lot more.
Now wondering about replaying the original instead.

is there a hard mode in this? Played a bit of it years ago and it was way too easy for my tastes.

OP's image is Dolphin footage. The HD version is still washed out. Not the same as PS2 but more-so than the game on Wii(which had colors boosted).

I already have the PS3 version, why should I care about the PS4/PC version? Any improvements whatsoever?

PC will probably have 60fps and mods. It will look better too. No point getting it on PS4 if you have it on PS3 though.

Was there a point for Yoichi in the game, I remember him trying to get to the other side of a bridge and then trying to shoot down a fruit from a tree and nothing more, did I miss some quest with him?

That was the point of him. He was a guard trying to do his duty or something like that.

It didn't run at 4K on the PS3 mate.

The last part of his quest is in Kamui, IIRC. He helps you purify the area there and I think that's it. It has been a while since I've played, though, so I could definitely be wrong.
