DMCBros, just thinking about this getting revealed tonight causes me to tear up. We have all been waiting for this, a chance to see DMC exist again in a market full of mediocre action games and western trash. We fight with Ninja Gaiden fags, but tonight, they are rooting for us. For the both of us want a chance to simply exist. Our father Itsuno has been working tirelessly on his game for 2 years now and he promised a release this year, so I be damned if SONY is going to stop our father from delivering the message to his children. That's right, we are the children of Itsuno. We spend hours in bloody palace grinding a single got damn technical skill and not even playing the actual game until we learn it. We are the last generation of hardcore players in a sea of filthy casuals. Let us thank our father and witness his return and our resurrection.

It's my favorite weapon in the game actually, Nevan is more of a crowd control thing what with its left and right (thumbstick input) attacks and also keeping yourself safe in the air while charging bats, its forward launcher is also fucking great It's not a fully realized weapon on itself but it's a great complement to pretty much everything else, i personally love it in Gunslinger, shit just flows too well

PSX is confirmed to have zero new announcements and I believe Capcom also specifically said they will have little to no presence at it.
The leaks have stated that PSX being downsized lead to a delay in DMCV's announcement, which is why the leak was dropped when it was. I'm just going to wait for E3 like it says, although something at TGA would be unexpected and hype.

Oh and forgot to add, if you're trying to use it's standard ground bat attack then stop it at once, Nevan's about jumping around and keeping enemies in check, the standard bat attack is just extremely inefficient for your mobility and is also weak

In the air i like to mix charging bats with charge shots, but being in the air is not everything, Nevan Combo II (and it's crazy combo) is great if you're surrounded and raises your style meter to SSS in ways that only DmC manages to replicate, and i love mixing Nevan's stinger with other weapons, a great combo starter since it comes from long distance and also launches enemies

DMC 3 was the best and worst thing that happened to this franchise.
It delivered us the single best title in its genre, a game so perfect you can replay it indefinitely and still have fun with it, but it also gave us one of the most cancerous fanbases, that only got worse once DMC4 was released and doubled down on the "pizza pizza XD Cuhrayzee Uncle Dante Uncle Dante Motivated" attitude of DMC3, which made sense for the prequel cause Dante was young, but never made sense for older post-DMC1 Dante.
