I just want to make a comfy waterpark. While we're at it when are they going to add an option to autogenerate random terrain upon starting a park? It's much more fun to have something to work around/work with than having to start from a perfectly blank slate every time.

Should I buy this if I like Cities: Skylines?

Depends what your main draw to Skylines is. Traffic management? Planet Coaster is rather lacking in challenge/management. Creativity and detailed customization? That's where PC shines.

Fuck Frontier. Planet Coaster is dead now and has no fucking future. They ruined the game and the only chance of actually making the game good has been ruined.

So i hotly anticipated this game when i first heard about it. I really wanted it. When I was growing up i LOVED SIM Theme park (Theme Park World to all you UK people) I played the shit out of it. I played it regularly and them semi-regularly until about 2006. Since then, i have always wanted a follow up, but when bullfrog got shut down, i thought i'd never see anything like it again. Well, I can Continue to say that because I just could not get into this. It feels less like a fun theme part game and more like some kind of interactive fucking architect 3D drafting living Diorama shit. The short version of this rant is, it just feels, in design, too roller coaster tycoon. Generic tilt-a-whirl. Generic bathroom. the theming (at least when I bought it) was pathetic. They fucking expected play created content to make up for fucking everything. I dragged in that clown whatever and then realized it was made out of several generic geometric shapes and i tried deleting it but i could only delete one piece of it at a time, i never found out how to fucking mass delete a structure that was fucking glued together from fucking spheres and triangles. Everything was so smooth and blah and not at all engaging. Steam did let me refund it so I still have it. I wanted to like it but....

Building parks is nice and all but the real fun in RCT1 and 2 was trying to make everything run smoothly and figuring out how to jew the guests the most
