2 would have been far, far better had it just delivered on its story and not done the whole "NOT OF IT WAS REAL YOU ALL JUST WENT CRAZY THANKS TO RADIOWAVES" twist that's about a million times less interesting than a guy accidentally bringing the anti-christ into the world due to the guilt over his part in the death of his childhood friend.
Game would have been elevated into high art if they'd kept that rape audio in the game. Heard that before it got expunged from the internet. Disturbing shit.

Played Outlast 1 and didn't even bother with 2, found 1 to be complete trash and regret having wasted my time wit hit.

Outlast 2 is actually pretty bad though. The level layouts were wack, it was more annoying than spooky, the story was pretty weak...it was just a mess of a game.
