I feel like they could have done that with Odyssey by having Pauline, Daisy, and Rosalina act as wedding crashers together.

I think it was a missed opportunity not to have more members of the Mario appear in Odyssey.

Wario and Waluigi could've easily been the wedding planners that fight Mario instead of the Broodals. I get the cultural reference behind the Broodals with the rabbits on the moon thing but Odyssey was a game where you could've had the whole Mario cast and not have it feel out of place.

Hell maybe they could've had Wario and Waluigi be the salesman at Crazy Cap instead of the citizens of each kingdom since they use their color schemes and all.

No because Daisy was actually in a mainline Mario game. She's a one-game character like Yoshi, Bowser Jr., Rosalina, or Wario that didn't resonate with people enough to get appearances in future mainline games (except Mario Run I guess)


Interestingly they did pull Toadette out of spinoff hell and introduce her to the mainline series, which I think barring Pauline is the first time that's happened.

Actually they've replaced Rosa with Pauline.
