Zelda is the better game. Witcher is the more interesting setting, characters and story. Neither deserve such high scores, only a game that combined their strengths should get so high marks

Everything is deleveled, cat (night visipn) is a passive ability now, enemies are balanced, so is armor and alchemy is more complex (potions don't automatically refill for example)

I fucking loved BotW and W3, but I still can't wrap my head around Zelda getting a 98 when it has visible FPS drop in multiple areas and lots and lots of boring or incomplete shrines.

Witcher 3 sold 10 million copies. I doubt BotW will top that considering the highest selling Zelda game on a single system sold like 7 million. Witcher 3 is also the most awarded game of all time and came out in one of the most stacked years in recent memory, beating out a bunch of highly anticipated games. The only real competition BotW was gonna face got delayed to next year.

Tons of games sell better than Zelda. Like a whole bunch. GTA V has sold like 90 million.

Also should note mod is hard, on death march you can die in two or 3 hits, but you have a lot of flexibility because you have sliders thst can make enemies hit harder or be more aggressive, etc
