Try actually playing the game
They used Indian gauge train tracks.
fucking stalker fags get out reee
>They used Indian gauge train tracks.
you know that russian tracks are wider than EU ones?
1520 mm RU
1435 mm EU
Metro is the most patrician game.
it's secretly pretty good stealth game,
playing it as action game is less enjoyable
Is this similar to Nier? Looks like it so I'm interested
What happens at the end of last light? I never bothered to finish it.
I can only hope their romance gets a little more developed beyond 'oh shit we're kids and we just survived lets have sex thank god we're alive.'
Last Light came out and shat on anything and everything that made the first game great and of course they are just going to double down on more Last Light tier garbo
war.
Stalker code monkeys thinking they can make their own games.
The first game is a great stealth game, Last Light on the other hand is fucking awful and insulting to ones intelligence
>comes out Fall 2018
Part of me is sad its taking so long but the other is happy because it will be good and finished. Unlike 90% of games these days
except games are identical, the only thing I miss damage distributions and how helmets worked
Look I replay both games in the row once a year or two, they are very similar, your autism about takedown button doesn't let you see this.
>except games are identical
This is incredibly untrue. Last Light turned equipable items like throwing knives and TNT into quickthrow garbage stuff and introduced takedowns. The AI was also incredibly gimped from the first game.
>it has a similar setting
>I better call out the new game as trash
It's going to most likely play similarly to the first two games so that probably doesn't give people a lot of hope for it. Metro 2033 was made by a lot of former GSC devs that worked on Stalker so the comparisons are going to be there.
They play nothing alike asides from being first person shooters
>What is scavenging supplies
>What is avoiding environmental hazards (both supernatural and radioactive)
>What is fighting mutants and other monsters
>What is exploring post apocalyptic urban environments
>What is dealing with inter-faction fighting
>very similar
Did you know that you can literally just walk straight through every stealth section in LL because they dumbed down detection so much?
youtube.com
You tried that shit in 2033 and you would be dead in two seconds.
>What is scavenging supplies
A mechanic is tons of games
>What is avoiding environmental hazards (both supernatural and radioactive)
Also a mechanic in tons of games and the details are just part of the setting
>What is fighting mutants and other monsters
Part of the setting
>What is exploring post apocalyptic urban environments
Setting
>What is dealing with inter-faction fighting
Shared with many other games that stalker isn't constantly compared to
Metro is linear, room to room action. STALKER is fairly open world and quest based. It's like I said, people only compare the two when they're superficially alike
Same here, I'm probably gonna pre-order it as my Birthday present, So far Deep Silver has done a good job with the Metro series and rarely is there a thing I hate about it.
It's reveal last E3 was one of the most pleasant surpises.
this has been patched or fixed in the Redux version, if youre not croucing it alarms the ones close to u, if they see a body they get alarmed, if they hear u, they get alarmed, if u shoot near them (like behind a barrel with a silencer) or if u miss a guy by an inch they get alarmed. it is true that the whole stick to the shadow=invisible is still there but if a guard stares at u he will do the whole "whats there?" and start to move towards u and if u dont hide behind something he will walk right up to u and detect u.
Anyone hope they go back to 2033 and have the armor mechanic again? I kinda wish you could swap stuff around for areas, like padding and shit for mutants and more sneaky beaky style stuff for humans.
>He never read the books
I have, but the video games and books are separate timelines or some shit.
I want the bullets used as currency back, it was the most unique thing about the books and first game.
Also reminder that Metro and STALKER were both inspired by the same book and even share some developers.
>by the same book
two VERY different books
Ukrainian developers making game about Russia cant visit Russia since they`d be killed by Ukrainian nazis then, even though they had to move studio to Malta after Maidan.
No way, last light has entire levels of enemies with their backs conveniently turned towards you
