I'm thinking new IP that's basically just another Souls game. They shouldn't make a Bloodborne sequel, the game doesn't need one.

This. Yharnam's story is done, but the Great Ones probably messed with other cities too. The sequel will probably be more Lovecraftian stuff happening in Japan.

I've seen Tenchu and Shadow Tower brought up a lot too, but that tagline sounds like it'll be the second game in a series. They've already gotten sequels.

The asian script and sound design, dark fantasy and mechanical prosthesis elements, as well as the words "shadows die twice" make me believe it's Tenchu, or at least a spiritual successor/ninja-esque game.

Tenchu always had a layer of dark fantasy beneath its depiction of medieval Japan, the mechanical thing in the trailer remind me of mechanical castle from Tenchu 3 and the words 'shadows die twice' seem to me to be a direct reference to Rikimaru, as explained here: youtube.com/watch?v=i9jNUfRA8BM

Plus, in all of the Tenchu games the ninja often refer to themselves as Shadows or there's a Shadow in the subtitle of the game.

The setting seems different, the 'trick' weapon in the hint looks like a prosthetic harpoon/belay of some sort which doesn't seem really Japanese in design. (yes I see the kunai looking thing.)
