DEATH STRANDING STORY EXPLAINED

Scientist on earth have found out how to travel through time and space to visit different dimensions. They send scientist to these various places to conduct experiments on the lesser versions of humanity. Reedus is one of these scientists. They soon discover that they themselves could be being manipulated by more advanced beings so they send Reedus to investigate.

These beings are ludens. Ludens are born human but possess superior intellect and powers. They view humanity the same way we view an ant farm. Reedus must kill the 5 ludens in a Shadow of the colossus style. Once they are all killed however, he discovers that he himself is a luden.

That is the basic plot. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

You're not fooling anyone with than user.

Care to guess how many of these kinds of threads we will see until the game launches?

Note the device on luden's back here. The same chasis can be seen on reedus's back in the newest trailer.

Not enough

I guess the other 20 or so death stranding threads PR is hitting Sup Forums with weren't good enough for OP

My question is when can we expect gameplay footage?
2025?

This quote basically gives away the plot. We try to play god, but don't like to think that we are the product of a god or that we can be manipulated. We hate the thought of beings higher than us.

Note the 1/6. The other 5 are the ludens that reedus hunts. Mads Mikkelsen is one of those 5.

Ludens view themselves as a distinct race, and claim to have "different interests" from humanity at large, in some instances claiming to be above traditional human morality. The Ludens routinely conduct experiments on humans and alter their minds in order to further their own means.

The Ludens operated on Earth in secret for less than one hundred years, searching for possible recruits. Any human who possesses what the Luden call "the third impulse" has the potential to be trained.

The Ludens, too, secretly influence humanity, but they are not the supreme beings, the Wanderers. Ludens themselves perceive two further stages of human development, and that some Ludens may have already progressed onward to some sort of super-Luden existence. Both humans and Ludens seem to believe that the Wanderers represent a civilization still greater than any that ever originated on Earth.

uhhhhhhh guise
ANALYZE it

Wow that sounds boring

what are the babies what are the gaint lmaos why is there war in the different reality why does every trailer always start with dead crabs.

If he's a scientist, why does his uniform state that he's on a corpse recovery team? And why are you telling lies on the internet?

The baby is in fact Reedus' son.

So where does male pregnancy fit into all this?

>not understanding that it's a 1/6 size figure

The figurine you posted stands roughly 1ft tall because it's based on Reedus' character in the suit which is probably around 6ft

>it's another "Soviet sci-fi gets ripped off" episode
inb4 peasants claim it's "original".

No user, you are the ludens : the game

post more depressing russian urban landscapes

>tl;dr: weebshit

Exactly. This is Kojima's combination of "The Time Wanderers", The Book of Genesis and "Hard to be a God".

A short googling revealed OP to be a fucking retard.

OP based their evidence on the number of ludens based on a 1/6 figure measurement scale. They also wholesale copied the definition of ludens off a 1938 fiction novel from fucking wikipedia.

You're all fucking stupid and I hate you and every variation of this kind of thread that'll come out until the game's release.

10/10 levels of mad

>Mads Mikkelsen is one of those 5.

Bad attempt.
Kojimbo has already confirmed that Mads is one of the good guys.

Let me guess: you don't even know what the CDT is.

I think there's a lot of Snail on Hillside thrown in. The artificial baby is a dead giveaway.

Roger that.

>Scientist on earth have found out how to travel through time and space to visit different dimensions.

Gameplay when?

Yeah cus kojima invented the idea of ludens all on his own....

where do you think he stole it from retard

Who impregnated him?

>Kojima never lies...

Maybe the latin word which there's zero evidence of it means an individual/s in the game you mongoloid.

>Kojimbo has already confirmed that Mads is one of the good guys.
...until he dies and gets resurrected by black nanogoo. Since he remembers you, he'll keep searching for you with a squad of pet paras.

>rick and morty: serious edition

>They also wholesale copied the definition of ludens off a 1938 fiction novel from fucking wikipedia.
Kojima plagiarizing plot points from obscure media? He would never

What kino is this?

Me

Never ever. Kojima is just a wannabe movie director fucking hack. You can be sure that the gameplay segments, if any, will be short and utter shit.

how comes kojima never gets sued by the movies he rips from?

MGS5 had more gameplay than all the other MGS games combined.

>OP is now Kojima.

Your reading comprehension is lacking. Consider suicide.

Which team is Norman's character part of, user?

>"Hurr durr, my hero Kojima is a genius inspired by latin! He dosn't rip images straight from other sources!"

Stay mad kiddo

That's just a blurry window.

Iwojima ransacks Strugatsky brothers (Soviet Star Trek in literary form) this time, although he's taking quite a lot from Zamyatin and Yefremov.

>I'm defending Kojima because I'm calling OP a retard for citing wikipedia.

You're unbelievably stupid.

That was never my point though. Kojima ripping off ideas from other sources is nothing new. Snatcher was basically Blade Runner vs. Terminator.

For all the retards in this thread who have missed the actual spoilers in the previous analysis threads.

>OP is a retard for citing something remarkably similar to what Kojima is making.

He's an agent of Earth's first contact unit hot on trail of an alien species that tries to covertly advance humanity. They find an artificial human embryo that is indistinguishable from real h.sapiens, on the way back, the embryo suddenly starts developing and the team loses its shit.

Good try

See inb4
>Oh yeah he's part of that team in the first 5 minutes
>He gets transferred later on

deathstranding.gamepedia.com/The_Time_Wanderers

Thanks OP I cum at cat and he hiss at penis.

Hold on, that's not Snatcher, that's Shadowrun!
Renraky arcology in the first pic, some AA biomed corp HQ in the second.

Nope. Shadowrun simply ripped off Blade Runner too. I don't remember ever seeing a Konami logo on a billboard in a Shadowrun game. Everything cyberpunk owes its existence to Blade Runner anyway though.

>being this mad that someone uses common and uncommon tropes when creating a new piece of media
hmmm

I'm not even mad. If anything, I'm probably the biggest Kojimafag in this board. I'm just honest enough to admit that his works are pretty derivative and still enjoy them for what they are.

Okay FIB. Go kill yourself now, tnx.

Corpse dosn't mean a literal dead body dummy. That's like thinking "Tango down" means start fucking dancing.

Too bad they're literally carrying a corpse in a bag in the latest trailer.

Do you feel like a retard yet? Because you really should.

>Corpse dosn't mean a literal dead body
but it does

That sounds interesting, what is it ripping off? I wanna see it

And Blade Runner clearly owes it's existance to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, so on and so forth. What's your point user? No art is entirely original

>And Blade Runner clearly owes it's existance to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep,
Duh. It's an official adaptation.

stalker
the original novel

You mean "A roadside picnic" ?

>official adaptation
No
>loose interpretation
Yes
So if Shadowrun had a Philip K. Dick quote at the beginning you'd stop sperging out?

Reminder that Silent Hills died so we could have this instead

Does that mean the masked corpse thing is one of those five Ludens? or does it serve the purpose of turning into black goo of unknown purpose?

Pete?

>official adaptation
>No
Except it was an official adaptation, you pleb. It might've had deviated from the source material significantly and it used a different title, but that doesn't change the fact that it still shares names, terms and other story elements or that the studios literally owned the film rights to the book.
>So if Shadowrun had a Philip K. Dick quote at the beginning you'd stop sperging out?
You're the one whose making a big deal out of this. Not sure why pointing out similarities triggers you so much.

I'm getting tired of multiple dimensions/timelines trope shit in vidya. Who or what the fuck started with it? Steins; Gate?

Any place do a digital copy of Time Wanderers? I can't find it on Play books or Amazon in not physical

Too bad you can't explain the gameplay AHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Mandela Effect creepypasta + CW Flash tv series + Youtube physicists explaining the Double Slit Experiment to the masses + Rick and Morty.
"WE ARE IN THE BEST/WORST 《TIMELINE》 LOLOLOL"

You said Shadowrun ripped off Blade Runner, which is ironic because Blade Runner wasn't original in the first place. I was under the impression your issue with Shadowrun was that it borrowed it's milieu from established cyberpunk works, which doesn't seem like an issue to me.

...

Disclaimer: don't care for Shadowrun
Love Blade Runner
