Look, I don't really care about Nintendo. I played a shit load of their games back in the day, but I haven't touched them in years, so maybe I'm mistaken, but I just don't see discussion of practically anything that the Switch has. Like, you'll see the normal BotW and Mario threads during release, but this is like all games. But now I only see threads about Nintendo, and not the games themselves. And they're mostly only done in a shitposting bait type way.

This is the most concerning thing to me. I mean, we still get people talking about fucking Dragon's Dogma after all these years. And the threads when made get hundreds of posts in only a hour, then usually get several consecutive threads afterward. And it's not just Dragon's Dogma, things like Doom, Souls, random weeb games here and there. A lot of games get daily games, and yet Nintendo is generally all but forgotten.
This really does, at least to me, say a lot about the quality or replay value in these games. They just don't seem to grab the attention of people for an extended period of time.
And nowadays, if I can't get at the very least, 100 hours out of a game, it just isn't worth it. Only a very select few games or genres would entice me to buy it without having some sort of replay or longevity, and Nintendo doesn't seem to have that.
