Reminder DMC3 had the shittiest retconned tacked on coming of age story in all of video game history. Dante is the least developed hero in this game and in all games, was a bigger asshole a first but stayed the same asshole at the end, even losing his brother just took a few seconds of sad before reverting back to the jackass he was in the majority.

Vergil didn't deserve to lose to a faggot prick the way he was presented.

I'm curious what a new F-Zero would be like. As much as you want it to be "F-Zero GX with new graphics and online play," there's no way that it would turn out like that, nor do I think you really want it to be that way.

Most people playing online wouldn't complete races, they'd either retire by being knocked out by other competitors or flying off of the track themselves and races would be completely dominated by the autists who spent thousands of hours in time trials learning to abuse shift-boosting and abusing the best vehicles like Fat Shark. You know that they would have to retune it all "for fun" so that everybody is going the same kind of fast and flying off the track doesn't end the race for you completely.

Online play is the lifeblood of a game nowadays, it's the only thing that will keep people playing, if you don't make a fun multiplayer for the masses, then the new F-Zero will fade into obscurity.

This scene just lacked any emotion from me after we saw the two size up each other and act like autistic edgy sayians wannabes towards everything. We aren't presented with Dantes emotional piv internally or Vergils, they hardly seem like characters more like powered plot devices with quips.

DMC1 Dante is the right mix of seriousness and lightheartedness; any awkwardness is the result of the game being 16 years ago.
