The secret to persona is fusing things in arcana's you have a high social link in thats all it takes

You don't have to fuse arsene you can keep him and just fuse others
Register all personas you find and you can buy them back at any time.

Leveling persona's is inefficient don't bother. the amount of exp needed increases exponentially arsene sucks just fuse new things

If you're getting fucked just fuse some new personas or something. It really shouldn't be over, especially not on medium difficulty if you're in the first palace
it was pretty easy up until that miniboss but after that the standard mobs are dealing way too much to me

Unless you're in the late game, you should really learn to not get attached to your personas.
i find that i do have stuff they're weak against, but this one enemy i seem to be coming up against just continously fucks me because i have no weak against them. fucking agathion.

If you like one you can make a super minmaxed version later but for actually playing you need to keep fusing.

fuse stronger demo- i mean personas. get pesonas that can cast heals and buffs.
capture as many personas as possible but also fuse them. People often get stuck at the game because they don't fuse and get higher level personas.

As long as they are a higher level than what you've got now they won't be garbage bro.
I think the game will tell you most personas will be garbage until you start ranking up your confidants, but that takes a while, so don't worry.
I don't even want to image what would happen if OP had to fight Shadow Yukiko vanilla edition.

This game is laughably easy, I beat the 3rd dungeon in one in-game day.
Igor says that because you wont get bonus xp. If you have a social link you get bonus levels when fusing. Early on you cant have social links anyway so he will say that to anything you try to fuse. When fusing just look at the stats of the new persona. Pick one that is immune to the elements that your enemy uses or even reflect them. Look for high magic stat for casting SP consuming spells and for high strenght for HP consuming things. That´s all you need to do to beat the game. Later aim for personas that don´t have weaknesses at all and can use more than 2-3 elements without changing personas. Those are worth leveling. Also make sure to check out the weapon dealer guy for the latest equipment at least twice a dungeon if you struggle.
I remember some issues when I ran into enemies that had no weakness or if I had forgotten curse or bless from my moveset and while few bossesn gave me some trouble none of them was as complete bullshit spikes as Contrarian King
You can transfer certain skills over to new Personas.
CK was a legit glitch they decided not to fix for shits and giggles
CK was the hardest enemy in p4, but once you got him down the fan you got was kind of op.

i've bought new gear for everyone so i'm doing more damage, but it's just not enough, i run out of SP after a big fight and end up having to use fucking physical attacks to grind my way through. my current save is literally post miniboss in the first palace, i'm out of SP, on the 25th day, i genuinely think there's no hope
Just run out of time and you will be reset a full week.

not even a boss, i've beat the miniboss, but the basic enemies after seem to have such a giant powerspike that my team gets decimated so easy that i feel like i'm not gunna have the time to progress before failing. gunna change the difficulty to easy and see if it helps
If you think it will help and it's not going to make you redo too much stuff then sure. I think the first dungeon is probably the hardest dungeon in the game desu, especially if it's your first Persona. I remember running past a few enemies later on without fighting them just to complete it.
i'll be honest if you exclude pokemon, this is probably my first turn based rpg i've ever played.
Ok on normal enemys it really comes down on attacking their weaknesses one by one and when have them all down use all out attacks. Press L1 to see their weaknesses. Mona has wind, Ann fire, Skull lightning, so try having personas with ice, holy and darkness. If you see a weakness change your persona and attack their weakness. You should have no problem that way. Also check out the vending machines in town, you can sometimes buy SP drinks their.

Ok this is not pokemon. As other anons have stated already you won´t get far by sticking to your favourite 1-3 personas. Always have the full available slots (I think you can have 6, later you can have up to 12) full of personas that cover different elements and different jobs. (Healer, Buffer, Tank..). That way you are flexible to react to all situations with your main character.

Does not really matter, just fuse the ones you can. (Your level decides what you can fuse). Always go to the ones you can with your level and try to have different ones as I explained above.
Sorry I´m not usually on kindergarden Sup Forums, I´m a /vr/ oldfag that just came for the persona threads.
Also if you don´t see a weakness on an enemy it either has none or more likely you don´t know it yet. At your point in the game you need to find them by trial end error, later you get a little help with that by a friend.
