How's the pc port?
I got it on ps4 but Im thinking of grabbing it on the steam sale just to round out the dlc I never bought
How's the pc port?
It's ok. It works.
played 70 hours, had 6 crashes so far. it's fair
It's decent. They even patched in mouse support if you care about that kind of shit.
Sounds good, does the sale end tonight?
Nioh complete edition ps4 USGAY physical release?
in 20 hours or so
does anyone know if you can queue for multiple missions or just one at a time if you don't want to do all of them?
How good is the game?
I need something to play while waiting for the new fromsoftware game
it's a good port. runs pretty much flawless even on 960 2gb
has crashed like two times for me. def get this over ps4 version, i cant comprehend how people played this game at 30 fps
ps4 pro is 60fps user
>has crashes
>it's a good port
??????
You can choose to play at 60 with low grafix
It was mostly fine even during some of the crazier moments
all applications crash.
oh wow pay extra money for a shitty console so you can play 720p 60fps :|
>How good is the game?
Lackluster story, great bosses, faster paced combat and more moves than souls but no shields.
It works very good with a steam controller using the official Team Ninja config.
0 crashed, need to toggle some settings for it to not fucking die when launched for the first time, but after that is smooth sailing. 60fps 99% of the time even with stock gtx970/6600k
Using an xbone controller, works perfect, no crashes.
I don't think I'll replay it again tho, the item loot shit is shit.
>console early adopters
if you bought a ps4 early in its lifetime you're legit retarded
Runs great maxed out 1080p on my 970 meme card and Koei Tecmo are actually releasing frequent updates for it which they never do with their PC ports
Not them but I haven't had a single crash, 32 hours in
Does it support a PS4 pad? I don't care if the buttons are wrong, just if it has native basic support like, Tekken 7 per say.
I mean I get the ps4 hate but the original ps4 plays everything at 1080p so not sure why you are flaming.
>all applications crash.
if their code is shit
All steam games support ps4 controller now with their integrated ps4 controller support. Now I cannot say if they have ps4 hotkeys in game in this port if thats what you were asking. But the controller will 100% work.
Windows crashes and has had trillions of dollars thrown at software engineers to build it
Mine crashed once. But only when I backstabbed a dude and accidentally instantly attempted to use a cannon while picking up gear while spamming B right after he died. Other than that seems good so far. Also the umi bozu is the worst part of the game what were they thinking.
windows code is shit, i doubt this game crashes on ps4
Yeah I wonder why a game made for ps4 architecture, which is 1000 times more simplistic than windows architecture, sometimes crashes when it never crashes on the platform the original dev team was designed to make it for.
it's easy, and i'm not sure what i'm seeing with people who are having a lot of trouble with it and not having fun
boss fights like umi bozu are probably my favorite thing in gaming. all his attacks are predictable/dodgeable in the first phase and he gives you openings to hit him for huge damage with fire shots and whatnot. it takes literally under 20 seconds to run to him and you should be getting better at the fight every time.
do light the three beacons or hes practically impossible..
>All steam games support ps4 controller now with their integrated ps4 controller support.
>will 100% work
If that's the case then why don't Dark Souls 3 or DMC4:SE work with a ps4 controller for example?
They do work? I've played dark souls 3 with my ps4 controller on pc. If you go into your steam settings, it might be in full screen mode, you have to make sure that you check the box that says support ps4 controller, and then you can modify all the buttons, hotkeys, and functions of how your controller acts in the game. They have basically added steam controller functionality for both xbox one and ps4 controllers
if your ps4 controller works in windows then it works in those games.
if it doesnt its your issue.
why people dont just go with the superior xbone controller is beyond me
That's not how things work. A game can just plain not recognize an input device, regardless of if it's running through steam or not.
His attacks are predictable but not easy to dodge. I demolished Hideyoshi the Bat lady and Yuki Onna but the umi bozu took me the longest. Most of my deaths were him laser beaming me instantly after loading into the boss room, and the rest was the buggy room letting me fall into the water while hitting him. And don't even get me started on trying to dodge his tentacle slams. They are predictable as fuck but almost impossible to dodge if you are standing at a distance. I was trying to beat him without fire cause I'm doing a no magic/ranged run for my first playthrough to make it harder, but I caved and just used the bonfires to destroy him in 30 seconds cause I hated it so much.
No. Your computer can not recognize an input device, but if steam recognizes an input device then it will work for any game. You are just being retarded. I have played DS3 with a ps4 controller.
>but no shields.
Instead you get one of the best blocks you could possibly have.
Games may not recognize a gamepad (or xbox one or ps4 controller) or a game might only take D input (I think thats what its called probably wrong), but PS4 natively does xinput as an input. However if steam detects your ps4 controller, in games that a gamepad or controller is not recognized, it can remap your controller to keyboard keys to play the game, and in a game that only takes D input, it will emulate your xinput ps4 controller to D input. So its your shitty mistake in not making sure your ps4 controller is correctly connected to your computer and making sure steam recognizes it if you can't play a steam game with it.
How do people even use the PS4 controller on their PC. Every wire I hook up to this thing ends up getting lose and falling out of the socket.
Can I transfer my save from a cranked version to the steam version?
I plan on buying it later, when its cheaper, for the online
You need a better cable.
I personally like it better with the Xbone controller since BT and its all around a better controller imo
Which wires Are best? I've bought fucking three for this damn thing and they all fucking broke
Alright fuckers
Nioh or AC Origins?
>>>/reddit/
I got a fast charge cable off Amazon for 10$ and it worked fine for me
Whu don't you use it wirelessly?
You can (or so I heard), make sure you use the steamfix crack.
>His attacks are predictable but not easy to dodge.
user im 35 and i didnt have trouble dodging them bro
It crashes on ps4 too
>It's decent. They even patched in mouse support if you care about that kind of shit.
I'm actually quite surprised KT bothered even patching it in with how lazy their ports are. They must have thought it sold pretty well for them to actually patch it a little bit.
What I was doing was trying to stand at the distance where I could instantly start hitting those yellow weak points when they hit the ground so I could fit in 3 or 4 hits. But that's also the distance where they almost perfectly track you no matter your timing. I could have stood right in the boss's face and never get hit but then I'd only get 1 hit on the weak point before he retracted the arms. I dunno, maybe I suck dick. But most people seem to have the most trouble with the bosses I found the easiest.
It's a pretty lazy patch though. I'm pretty sure it doesn't ever show you keyboard controls for tutorials so you're screwed and have to memorize everything from the keybind menu to play.
