THIS CAN'T BE, STOP IT PERSONA IS OURS.

>Persona 1 of all games
Fake, personakeks don't give a shit about the series beyond P3-P5

Is Persona 1 even worth playing?

No. 2 is aight but 3-5 is da shit

honestly no, i couldnt even finish it because the encounter rate is ass and the mechanics were really dumbed down from what im used to. 2 forward is great though

If you've played all the others, then sure it's interesting to see the origin. The mechanics take some getting used to. P2 definitely is though as it has the best story in the series

If you have an itch for first-person exploration with isometric-styled battles, maybe.

If you want the dick sucking and dating sim, no.

Persona 1 is literally more of a mainline SMT game than Nocturne, and the Persona 2 duology have a really cool story and cast but dumbed down P1's gameplay.

You got my hopes up that p1 stealth released on steam

>mechanics were really dumbed down from what im used to
>has more depth than Persona 3-5's gameplay

It has a giant party member

I've played all the oldschool SMTs and enjoyed them minus MT1. Found Persona 1 to be pretty insufferable. The game's combat is just way too goddamn slow. It's managable if you speed up the battles and shit, will shave like 13 hours off your playthrough.

>megidolaon spam
>more depth
also, it's so fucking slow, the speed up feature only makes it slightly more bearable

Yeah, it's a pretty short easy game with good characters and passable gameplay. I really liked walking around the school and talking to NPC.
The main problem is that its battles are very slow. You have to figure out how do auto-battles work, then it'll be a breeze. But Persona in general is really slow, so I think you'll manage.
