3 more days, who here is hyped as af?

3 more days, who here is hyped as af?

Already have it on the PSTriple

>3 days until it finally comes to PC
You bet your ass I'm HYPED

who the fuck hasn't played okami at this point

yeeeeeee

Can't wait to run this at 8K@30fps. It's great that this is on PC simply for preservation purposes.

>locked 30fps

what's the point

Let see... it's only been on PS2, PS3, and Wii. So I would say a LOT of people.

>hyped as af

>30fps
Just emulate you fucking retards.

Me, Looks fun though

Despite the multiple rereleases this game doesn't actually sell well. Capcom releases it again because it's cheap to do so and it's a cult classic.

>30 FPS
Can't wait for the fucking day 1 patch that makes it 60 FPS because everybody's so fucking incompetent

It's easier to just download the game. Emulation is complex, stupid and finicky.

I'm excited to replay for the third or fourth time

>Hyped for a game which has been available through emulation for years
:|

>on PC
Bruh

It's not at 60fps on PC because the game's speed is tied to the framerate. It seems manageable at first, but certain enemies, prompts, etc... become intolerable at double speed. Ninetails will actually complete her drawings before you have a chance to stop it, for example.

You'd be surprised, Okami's cover art is too artsy for most people who just want some cool action shit on top. The game is a masterpiece played only by a few. But damn do I still love it regardless.

Guess it's time to replay and cry at the Issun painting cutscene again

My guy. One of the only games to make me emotional. Right up there with Infamous 2.

Then how about they fucking fix it then? They have all the original assets and programming, fix your shit before releasing it.

I haven't
Its only 15bucks if you have prime

I think every release sold better than the last but I might be wrong there.

I hope this one breaks 1 mil.

okami was one of the biggest blunders of all time. literally.

I haven't.

PCfats

I haven't. I would like to though.

more people emulated it than people played it on ps2 desu

>three fucking versions can be emulated
I doubt it

What is it with nips tying game functions to frame rate? Dark Souls 2 did it too where weapon durability damage we tied to how many frames the weapon was in contact with something. Leading to weapons breaking near instantly on higher framerates.

30 more days of anger

Thank god BOTW doesn't have unlocked framerate then

Me :P

Because it's easy and simple both for programming and console hardware, and in a case like Okami, I doubt the devs ever considered having to run the game on anything but a ps2.

Would buy this game again if I they released it for Switch, but I got no reason to drop another 20 bucks just to play at home. Could just dust off the PS3 or emulate it.

>who here hyped for a 12 years old overrated zelda clone

Will the JP version have the English text? The PS3 version did so I have the imported version.

Also Okami is one of the greatest games of all time. I remember playing the PS2 version when it first came out.

Download PCSX2. Download Okami. Congratulations, you can play Okami on the PC with INFINITE GRAPHICS. The game is literally the easiest to emulate. Go ahead and spend your money, though, I won't stop you.

PCSX2 is a shit emulator and you should feel bad for suggesting it.

>can play thousands of games with no issues
>shit

No, the reason PC release is more to be hyped for than the ps4 or xb1 release is because of the fact that now this game's immortality status in terms of a work of art is even more cemented. PC games will never not be compatible, it's now here to stay forever.
