Why do redditors love this shitty DLC so much? It's literally the worst Witcher story they made

Why do redditors love this shitty DLC so much? It's literally the worst Witcher story they made.

Imagine having taste this shit

kys your're self

>want to fuck up gaunter o'dimm for being edgy and smug
>have to save the most useless and edgiest smug nobleman cunt in the process

>hobo Freddy Kruger for a villain
>silent hill style set pieces
>geralt being cucked into slaving for some creep while having a dick tatooed on his face
>bunch of missions that were removed in original game and split together into a single story.
>reddit ending

The only saving grace of this DLC is the wedding mission.

A( I hate reddit and B( I love this extension, because the story is fucking dark and his wife is fucking hot. And it has the most variation in the world in the shortest time.

>redditors
I dunno, maybe you should go back there and ask them.

Ahah yes! I also dislike videogames :)

r u ok mate? breath

>Trying to start a discussion by pretending you dislike a game
stop doing this faggots

Did it fix the mediocre combat?

Yes and no. The combat itself is the same, but the few new enemies are far more engaging and fun to fight than infinite drowners and Wild Hunt losers.

Oh no you've called people redditors, you've won all the arguments ever!

not a moment of boredom for sure

Ironic shitposting is still shitposting

Olgiers estate was boring as fuck.

Agreed. At first it was a nice change from the usual game, but it dragged for too long.

Because it's a better told story than the main campaign and everyone feels the need to hype it up because they already hyped up the main game and it failed to deliver and they can't take that back anymore or their cultist friends would exile them.

the main campaign is so long and involves very many characters. not sure how you would improve on that

fuck you almost got me bro hehe xd.
next time only use xd at most three times otherwise its too obvious of a shitpost xd

It's hardly a good story. None of the characters are interesting. It's too wacky and psychedelic, but also dead serious, like an 80s horror movie. I was seriously expecting at the very end mirror man to reappear somewhere and do evil laugh "i'll be back muahaha" or some shit.

I also hate how it exists in complete isolation to main Witcher universe. Instead of being a cuck, Geralt could have asked his friends to help him fight the "evil" asshole.

he literally says i'll be back when he's defeated

reddit: the comment

>no grand scale events
>no shitty good vs evil story
>no boring Sauron wannabe villains
>a true witcher contract
>down to earth and relatable characters
>best Witcher girl
>actually fun wedding sequence
>great moral choice at the end
For real though, story is great because it's very contained. There are no unnecessary stuff.
You are an outsider for Olgierd, someone that had literally nothing to do with him. Suddenly you are thrown into his life, and you learn a lot about him from himself and characters that lived with him and knew him for some time.
And at the end of the story you are given a choice: Does he deserve eternal damnation or should he get a second chance? It's simple but this is why it's so great.
With main game they wanted too much:
>Witchers
>War with Nilfgaard
>Politics
>Wild Hunt
>Ciri
>White Frost
>Skellige (completely unrelated and game would play 100% the same without it)
It was impossible to do it right. With HoS you just have Olgierd's story and some minor side stuff thrown in.

They get it right perfectly in Blood and Wine, best Witcher story ever.

Doesn't matter since the whole game is shit

>story about hunting vampires
>no Van Helsing outfit

I really liked Gaunter O'dimm, but I thought olgeird or whatever his name was a shithead. I think if he was a bit more likable I would have had a better time. It still had some great missions and a more compelling story than the base game though. I think Blood and Wine was better because I'm a vampire fag.

That would've been pretty cool.
Although the dracula armor is really fucking cool as well.

I always side with O'Dimm because even when taking into account Olgierd's heart turning into a stone to make him a prick. He was very much a prick beforehand too going so far as to sacrifice his brother for the power.

The dude made a deal, got what he wanted even if afterwards he didn't want it because it was a double edged sword. So it's only fair he paid up in the end. He basically tried to dine and dash with the devil.

but if you side with o'dimm you don't get olgierd's cool sword

I thought the stone heart was more of a metaphor, but I agree with you. You basically have to go around fixing his mistakes the entire game, then when you tell him he gives you a halfhearted thanks. O'dimm is obviously evil, but he never lies to you or tricks you. The only reason you even get wrapped up in all this shit is because Olgierd lies to you and gets you arrested. The only reason I'd ever fight O'dimm is if I wanted to do the boss fight, but I just couldn't bring myself to fight him.

not that I remember. Its like saying a thriller is boring...

please grow up. I dont think anyone cares about helsing who got taste.

I think you also miss out on one of the Viper swords for the set if you side with o'dimm.

I still sided with O'dimm. Olgierd made a deal and was trying to cheat his way out of it. Both are kind of pricks in their own rights but o'dimm seems like someone you don't want to cross.

Oh nice, its actually just youtube comments/reddit people who sided with Olgierd, i felt like i was in a minority when siding with O'dimm

Shame you're too stupid to get it OP, I'm sure you're going to waddle trough life thinking you're smart, but do us all a favor and don't do it too much, it's embarrassing to watch

>bitchy dutchess willingly sacrifices her duchy and all loyal subjects for the sake of some long-lost relative to the whims of a vampire and his army

>save her sister from the vampire in the end
>bro vamp is now hated by all other vampires for killing the big bad
>no thanks for the sacrifice, nothing special

>get her shitty sister to kill her in the end; two birds one stone
>everyone acts all sad in spite of her willingness to let them all die for that very relative

>let her shitty sister get killed in the end to stop the vampire army from being a thing
>she acts like a bitch and throws you in prison
>you escape and keep all your shit anyway

I hated that DLC's story. Everything that was good about it was soured by the endings and that shitty duchess character throughout.
