Capture leader of the faction

>capture leader of the faction
>can't immediately end the war with said factiton

why Sup Forums likes this game again?

Huh,that's a valid complaint now. They should also increase the strength of every king's army too.

mod the shit out of that contradiction and have fun your own way

Kings already have much larger armies.

I know,I meant the difference should be even greater as they only have slightly more troops than a marshall.

Not really, didn't Prussia capture the French king in the Franco-Prussian war and the war still went on for a while?

You could be a limp-wristed king with your balls in the hands of the nobility, "ruling" an extremely autonomous state. You could see such a thing in the late Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth and a lot of times in early-mid medieval ages.

Hmmm im guessing the difference increases when you set the campaign difficulty higher. For me, medium set kings around 600-700 troops when their lords are at 100-180 sized armies

I captured Praven and started a kingdom, and am getting loads of money.

The Swadians (with only three castles) declared on me. I can beat most of their armies but my force limit is 81 and I could only convince a single lord to join me.

My friends either like their kings too much to join me or say something like "i can't discuss politics right now".

What do?

I hope you can hold public executions in Bannerlord.

After they captured Napoleon III, France reformed government so thats not the case here

This. Please modders, we need decapitation gore mod

I'm afraid some psychos would just execute every Lord in game to see what happens and you can't generate new Lords forever.

>decapitation
>not hanging
please

why not

>just like in real life

hanging is not gory, what a pleb

because the next one in charge is the General
>Generals ending wars
oh funny OP

Because capturing the king doest end wars instantly
Nor does killing them

but that's true in medieval ages

Oh yeah, that makes me wonder, are there going to be dismemberments/decapitations in Bönerlord?

>lead kingdom
>wage war against kingdom
>capture their king
>hold public execution in your capital
>game allows you to make bets with your own lords
>bet on whether or not the neck will break
>it doesn't
>bet on how long he'll last
>have feast and dance afterwards
>take 5 maidens with you to your royal chamber
>have them poop on your chest
Such is the life in Calradia.

No. Everything we've seen so far hints at it being Warband 2.5 HD edition. Cool but don't expect anything drastically different with the combat.

Red Dead Redemption 2?

>around 600-700 troops
You must be using mods, nobody in vanilla starts with such a number.

I mean, it doesnt change anything combat-wise, just something cool... So that mean that theres no gore?
(i mean, with the extended mod support, people probably are going to add it if its technologically possible)

To my understanding, there's no gore and the combat looks more or less the same.

How do I enjoy this game again, my friends?

who the fuck plays vanilla mountain blade?

Its literally the same game with new engine and some features that were already seen in some mods before. Still I'll pre order

Wrong, you can now craft your own weapon and play checkers in tavern. Gamechanging

...

I needed to get this off my chest so i made this for everyone who hasn't played it yet.

Which companions should I make my vassals not to fuck up my standing in Calradia?

I guess Alayen is noble?

It's a game that takes a lot of imagination to enjoy because it's really quite basic.

...

Go around harassing swadians
Build up your right to rule using companions
Increase your fame as well
Vassals like it when you have territory to give them too so when you've bullied all the swadians individually just take their castles

>"i can't discuss politics right now".
That means there's other lords in earshot

That or your relationship with them is too low

>that mailbox
fucking perfect

I did, for awhile.

Shit took fucking forever, burned me out on the game for a long-ass time.

>capture the head of state
>now the state can't argue for the release of the king
>if you're not also the king of your faction, you can't negotiate for peace
Also, that is such a minor complaint. If you wanted to complain about MnB, you should use the graphics, simple controls, or the setting which is full of tour guide characters and not real fucking people.

who /chancellor'scalradiaV2/ here?

Okay boys, I've buying it.
What mods do you recommend?

Viking conquest has decapitation

I wanna start playing this game but its -that- age, so what are some mods that might fix problems it has

Which claimant is the best to support? I'm doing a new claimant game soon and I'm thinking about dethroning Harlaus the butterlord in favor of Isolla.

Play it with no mods first. Then go to MBG and ModDB to see what interests you. Anything that has formations and diplomacy (features made by the community) is generally good.
Most of the popular mods are conversions to different settings. Most are historic, some are fantasy.
There's a good one for Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Warhammer Fantasy. Warhammer's is the worst of the three.
Historic mods that people recommend are 1257AD, Gekukujo, L'aigle.

Hanging is for peasants, decapitation is for nobility.

see

>putting a woman on the throne

You can play it as boring or as fun as possible. It's up to you.

Anything is better than Harlaus

>not being the throne for a woman

Anyone but Isolla, she's bitch

Yaroglek did nothing wrong, his dad did. The idea of the Rhodocks having a "rightful" king is also rendered moot since they named a line out of the blue. Any King of the Nords is essentially a Chief and if a claimant is too much of a milk drinker to take them on they don't deserve to be King. Arwa was slave blood. Just because the previous Sultan treated her like a daughter means squat.

Isolla is the only true, rightful heir based on blood and the perpetrator of her banishment still being alive.

I pit hundreds of hours into it, then hundreds of hours in vanilla warband
There's plenty to do before you dip into mods
