Actually the reason it was called Voyage was because it was the first time a mainline game officially travelled to somewhere that doesn't speak Japanese/Chinese.

The thing is that, Getter has been in every mainline game together with Mazinger and Gundam, Raijinoh didn't got to appear in the series until much later than then.

There are multiple version of the Getter team to even just reuse assets of then quite easily, they did the same for the Mazinger crew and the Gundam shows in this new game, they could just easily put the Armageddon team or even the classic team in the shin getter if they wanted..

Mecha are dumb, but western-style battlemechs are cool as shit. They might be impractical, but damn do they feel good to sit behind the controls of.

Yeah and we got the SKL duo at one time in UX instead of Koji which weirded a lot of people, but still was an incarnation of Mazinger, the same with the other Gundam non-UC shows

I know a lot of people was getting tired of Armageddon team after the Z saga, if that the case they could just easily used another one like Go's team or the New Getter incarnation quite easily since they have lines to reuse.

I liked Cross Ange and thought it was cool it got to be in V, but again so soon?

user all mechs are impractical, but that's not the point. They're fun, whether it's a walking tank or essentially a giant samurai.

I do kind of, though I like more realistic designs rather than super robot stuff. I have yet to find a video game with giant robots that I like or find interesting though. Interested in the upcoming Battletech turn based strategy game though.

I feel the same about Might Gaine, I know a lot of people wanted it and really loved its inclusion, but got really tiring pretty fast, i would prefer if it got a little rest since they went all over the top with him in V.
