Are you happy Sup Forums? All that retentless bashing forced Kojima to spit exactly what his game is about. >Timefall = Rain that changes timeflow >Death = Underwater Purgatory >Only one baby
I'm not even interested in the game anymore because I know so much now.
Landon Evans
I was off for a while
you fags really bullied him into releasing info? that's low as fuck
Chase Perry

>When you’re ready to return to the world of the living, you can get back into your body. However, unlike most games which set you back to a point before you died, Death Stranding acknowledges your defeat, and seems to even embrace it. You’re transported back to the world after your death -- like in Dark Souls or roguelikes -- where your actions maintain an aura of persistence. The mechanic of “dying” is ubiquitous in video games, but it sounds as though Kojima is implementing systems inspired by purgatory and reincarnation as well.
I told you guys that Dark Souls is the most important videogame in the last 20 years.
Ryan Ortiz
Is that an official poster?

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Kojima's work. The themes are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of modern art, as well as cubism and post-modernism, most of the allusions will go over a typical gamer's head. There’s also Kojima's happy outlook, which is summarized by his obsession with hollywood stars- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Alex Jones' Radio Show, for instance. True fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these themes, to realise that they’re not just conspiracy theories- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Kojima truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the Patriots, which itself is a cryptic reference to The Illuminati controlling our every day lives. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those blue pilled simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kojima's genius wit unfolds itself in his video games. What fools.. how I pity them.

Is this the kojimbo version of legacy of kain?

>you saw Norman Reedus' ass before you saw any gameplay >you saw an some pretentious cutscene instead of a gameplay trailer >actually gameplay sounds just as boring as the trailers Only a faggot would buy this crap
Bentley Baker
He literally revealled nothing that wasnt obvious. The articles saying he revealed the lore are misleading. Typical "game journalists"

DEL TACO is a prominent figure in the government organization known as BRIDGES, responsible for military technology such as the invisible oily things which can sense only life, possibly through sniffing some exhaled compound, through the power of NANOMACHINES they can also reanimate corpses and repurpose them to mobilize vehicles as well. Someone took over and now is controlling the technology, stole a metal gear and exoskeletons such as the one MADS uses to fuck up the world.
However, hope is not lost, A NEW MODEL of said technology yet uncorrupted and with lots of potential called BABY is the key to stop whoever is doing this. BABY has the same powers as the invisible oily things with the addition that he can teleport. DEL TACO is a head at BRIDGES and he must deliver BABY somewhere to stop all the shit, however he can't be assed to do it and assigns mooks for the task. A "porter" called SAM belongs to the team tasked with delivering the baby who knows where. They're ambushed by the techy villains and SAM is trusted with the baby to its destination. BABY decides to teleport within SAM to be safer. METAL GEAR appears and floods the area, but BABY teleports both of them back to the edge of some crater for some reason.
At some point, SAM and BABY are caught and made prisoners. SAM haves a laparotomy to forcibly take BABY out, but BABY makes both of them teleport somewhere else before it's too late. SAM is glad to see both are ok, but BABY decides it's time for shit to get real and guides naked SAM to the final BOSS. The ghost of The Boss.

>"you see, I have seen what people have been saying online, they say that all I do is spend time traveling and having expensive dinners with celebrities but that is not true, this really saddens me"
>tfw Kojima has been going to reddit and maybe even Sup Forums to know what people have been thinking about the project
YOU GUYS HAVE BROKEN HIS HEART YOU SON OF BITCHES

He stopped being good when he stopped making movie adaptions.
Dominic Davis
>implying you will be able to use that information to figure out the plot >implying Kojima wasn't explaning it in a very vague and ambiguous way
Adrian Lewis
>NO! THERE IS SOMETHING DEEPER, WITH ANGELS N SHIET. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!! HOW CAN KOJIMA POSSIBLY BE A HACK?
Andrew Thompson
Summarize the plot of DS with that info then.
There is no way, there is so much left without answers that those didn't help me one bit with most of mine.

People STILL havent figured out this is Kojima's Fallout4/Stalker homage. Stuff like timefall replaces radiation and anamolies in game. Jap devs are already onown for doing this latest Zelda game was Skyrim inspired.
