Hopefully he's doing good with Pikmin 4

Probably has special position in the company, like Stan lee at Marvel. He is also widely seen as one of the main fathers of modern gaming, and his name is known even by normies outside of his home country. They would never fire him. They might give him a more hands off role that is more PR/Face time than actually dealing with development but they'd never get rid of him. The backlash would be massive.

>storyfags

go read a book

Because if he goes, Mario likely does too. Got to keep him around until he kicks the bucket and the fully acquire the rights.

Why would Nintendo let Mario go with this old faggot

>games are fun
>also unique game design, mostly because modern games are all FPS shit tho
>his games always sell
>his worst games are 6/10's
Gee I can't imagine why he still has a job

Because, unlike the idiots who believe Inafune is the father of Mega Man, Miyamoto is the creator of Mario and probably owns legal rights to him.

He mostly just tinkers on Pikmin at this point. He only has over-seer roles in the big nintendo games now, and only hands-on devs Pikmin games inbetween releases.

Fucking show off Pikmin 4 already you fucker

>and has shitty antiquated ideas
And that's why his games are so great, they come from a time games were games instead of dramatic "experiences".

why do you make this thread daily

Traditional Japanese business practices demand that they keep him around until he kicks it. Otherwise, it's "dishonorable."

You seriously believe the stupid shit Sup Forums sprouts?

about what?

Why are you acting like he's some senile retard that needs help on the toilet and you wish for his death?

Isn't he still involved (to some degree) in the making of their first party games? Granted he's old and not anymore the self-perpetuating wonder kid who shits billion dollar franchises for breakfast, but he already took back a lot compared to a few years ago and lets the younger guys take over gradually. You know you'd be sad if he retires.

He's the only person at Nintendo who gives a shit about my favorite series (Pikmin) so I'd rather he stick around a while longer.

Project Giant Robo should be revived now that the Joy Cons are a thing

There's always some user who drinks Sup Forums's retard juice and thinks he ruined paper Mario, which he didn't, that was all IS he just made a simple suggestion. And they try to use that to assume that he does way more than he actually does since all he really devs on directly is pikmin.

>Miyamoto: "Don't just make TTYD again"
>IS: "Duuuh no Pardners, nyuuuh TOADS"

I'd have been perfectly happy with TTYD again.
Fuck I'd take an HD rerelease at this point, but I don't blame Miyamoto. At least not entirely, I do think he played a relatively small role in ruining PM.

Miyamoto was actually okay with it being another TTYD style RPG.
Tanabe is the one that made the final choice to move away from that.

What made sticker star bad had very little to do with what miyamoto suggested, they had already planned what the gameplay was going to be like or w/e

nooooo miyamoto ruined it and stole bayonetta from my system

Didn't he say that IntSys shouldn't make original characters for Sticker Star?

I know
Didn't Miyamoto same some shit about M&L being the dedicated rpg series now.
Or was that someone else?

someone else

That was Tanabe.
Basically everything wrong with Paper Mario can be attributed to either him or Kudo

I also think sticker stars producer Risa Tabata said something along those lines as well. But I'm sure most of the people who worked on the newer paper mario games all think/said something like that.

>another Sup Forums pretends to know somebody personally from snippets in translated interviews thread

Stop this Miyamoto hate meme. Star Fox Zero and its shit controls was the only thing he was really guilty of, but that game would be mediocre/okay regardless. It's Tanabe who ruined the Paper Mario series and made it into an action adventure puzzle shit series. The last game Miyamoto directed was Super Mario 64, which most people still praise to this day. And Odyssey is getting a ton of praise too, which is 64's true successor.

You're wrong, and you don't deserve video games.

Why not? The only people who have anything bad to say about him are Paper Mario story diehards, and Nintendo's not going to get rid of the gaming icon who propelled it to billion-yen stardom to appease an angry vocal minority.

>[Laughs] “America deserved Pearl Harbor.”

What the FUCK is Miyamoto’s problem?

People only try to shit on miyamoto because they don't know any better, and it's one of 3 names at Nintendo they actually know.

He "created" (emphasis on the parenthesis) two of Nintendo's big hitters.

They'd know about Iwata but who's the third? The rest don't seem as common.

Reggie. Also as a bonus, Sakamoto simply because of how much metroid fags like to kick and scream though OtherM actually was his fault.

>heh, i'd rather play one

>Miyamoto: "Don't make Super again"
Ftfy

was it him who said we don't need another f-zero since we have the antigravity sections in mariokart, cause fuck whoever says that
