Sonicomi is half-vn, and half-photography game where you dress her up in shit and take pictures to help decide her career direction.
The fanservice isn't bad, but the real charm to the game is just that sonico is so fucking cute. It's a game you play when you want to be cheered up by a girl who isn't real.

It seems like the PC one is the VN and the 3ds one is the manager sim

Well she has gotten quite of bit of merch despite only having appeared in the anime for like 10 seconds.

I didn't work in an office, it was all online. I can't really answer your question because there was pretty much zero communication among any of us outside of making bug reports and getting responses to them, so it was a pretty poor environment. We weren't even told when we were finished because the guy in charge assumed someone else had told us and never checked.
