DMC has really good atmosphere and best enemy design. Especially loved the file system that collected all the special actions you could do with them. If they made the weapon switching faster and maybe made the weapons a bit more diverse it'd be 11/10.

One thing that has always bugged me. You can not use Round Trip and switch to Ifrit to deal additional damage. Alastor disappears as soon as you swap. Something i'd also love to see fixed.

Really wish they'd try to approach them like horror games again. Action games don't even try for atmosphere anymore, DMC1 is special in this regard. Most people snuff it in favor of pure gameplay, fine with Bloody palace and set pieces. Breaks in the action are usually deemed a nuisance.
