What does v think of pic related

Was replaying it last night. Still a rock-solid experience.

It's a bit pixelated but altogether does fine at portraying an image of the front cover of bloodborne

My favorite video game, only game I've ever bothered to 100%

I love it. Cant wait until they announce their new game. Dark souls 3 was kind of dissapointing imo.

Did you die?

>go back to central Yarnham after it gets dark
>notice you can talk to a little girl on one of the windows
>crying for mom to come back
>can't send her to Oedon or the clinic
>leave and come back a bit later
>window is broken
>no response

I want to play it but I can't because
>no ps4
I spoilt myself anyway by watching a lot of videos about and I will have no surprise at all if I get to play it
Seems like an amazing game though

Probably the best game From Soft will ever make
It was its peak, it can only be downhill from here.

That and BotW are favorite games this gen.
Pretty good but I hope From doesn't make a direct sequel.

2 or 3 times, I think. I was playing SoTFS on the PS4 before that, so the fps change was jarring.

I quit after Rom. I couldn't get good.

are you new? we have bloodborne threads every day.

I couldnt even get to the first boss, its way too hard for me :(

Greatest game of the generation so far, even with the blood vial and Hunter's Dream shit

I died before the first lantern.
I got good after though.

at this point I'm completely convinced that 90% of people that claim to hate the game are either baiting, never played it, got stuck in an early game boss, or just trying to be contrarian for the sake of it.

>this webm

My friend still refuses to play it because he disliked the Souls style of combat and think that BB is just Dark Souls with fancy clothes.

a solid game with fun lore to discuss and some absolute meme characters

Kill the pig in the sewers for closure

pretty godd

Rom's like 50% through the game nigger

game of the decade

The settings means nothing to me compared with the twisted knights and dilapidated castles from dark souls. Also it all starts to look samey as fuck after a while using only 2 shades of gray. I like the transforming weapons a lot though that shit should have been borrowed by ds3.

pretty game
shit series

The game really good but was a little short and felt linear.

You mean like 50% of the unavoidable game bosses?

I quit for a month there too but got her when I played again during summer break. Power through it brah, difficulty curve imo gets smoother after the fight. Use bolt paper, or the tonitrus really helps.

Picked it up again and man am I rusty. I want to go full bloodtinge, how hard is Logarius on low levels? I'm running the saw spear until I can get a hold of the Chikage.

How low are we talking? And iirc Logarius has great blood defense so you had better pumped yourself with vit and some on str/skl

no I beat rom but only after a billion tries. I think Glasciogne was the only boss I beat with less than 10 attempts, besides the witches

I was thinking about rushing to get the Chikage because I'm an impatient fuck so naturally I'm gonna be like lv 25 or so. I'm actually changing my mind constantly and I think I'll end up going for a jack-of-all-trades build mix of arcane, bloodtinge and skill, so I'm pretty sure I'll spend most of my time farming levels to use ALL of the items by the endgame.

10 days

Why would you quit AFTER beating Rom? You unlock a bunch of weapon buffs after blood moon so the game gets easier imo. Rest of the main game is a romp. The only bosses I found harder than Rom are Defiled Amygdala and Orphan.

good luck then because it took me like a hundred to kill him on lvl30. granted you might be much better than me but use my experience as your gauge

That I’ll never be able to play it despite how fun it seems because I refuse to buy a console that has about only 4 games which iterest me.

KINO

I started playing again, not sure if I should use Ludwig's Holyblade or the Holy Moonlight Sword for my STR/maybe ARC run. First time I finished with STR/SKL and I think the other character was pure SKL or something like that.
I could access the DLC but I only have few twinblood-shards left.
The game is pretty good
I beat him today, around level 30-40 I think, with a Kirkhammer+6. Then again he made me suffer the very first time so I managed to win on my third attempt and finished with 0 vials, 0 bullets and pretty low hp, he had enough HP for 5-7 hits so it was a bit tense.
>Also it all starts to look samey as fuck
I don't understand this. Locations look pretty different, sure a forest looks a bit like the other forest but still.
Locations also look a bit different with the different moon phases

>listening to the shitty extended sountrack that kills the natural progression of the music with shitty repeats that just sounds out of place

Best game in the last 10 years.

Bought a ps4 pretty much solely to play it (last souls game I hadn't played before), and I was sorely let down. It just feels awful to play compared to other souls games. I forced myself to continue with it up to amygdala, but I just lost interest. I'm gonna try it again with a different build and see if that helps, but I doubt it. It's a shame too, because the lore is the best of all the souls games.

>"The One Reborn is the easiest boss in the game, all he does is sit there!"
>Go in thinking it'd be easy.
>He's literally spitting every other second at me as I'm taking out the bell babes
>Get into melee range and he's flailing around and trying to drop slime on me.
>Die because I couldn't see he was charging up his big attack

Nice game fromsoft

Rush to Ludwig and play through with the HMS. It's such a fun way to play through the normal game; it's a shame the good arcane gems are so fucking far into the chalices, so it's better with an evenly split or more STR focused build rather than pure ARC, though.

>want to clear the first three chalice dungeons
>running low on vials, doesn't matter I have a shitload of echoes anyways
>die because I fuck up and attacked a big guy instead of visceral
>get back, a shitty dog keeps staggering me because it had like 1 hp left and I press r1 to kill it thinking the AI will stop with the shitty attack
>forgot that the fags on the upper level at the bridge aren't throwing firebombs but use fucking canonballs
>die

2nd best ps4 game after MH world

...

I was just sick of the >fight my way through new area >die twenty times to boss cycle I was trapped in. I'll probably pick the game back up again but I had to face the fact I'm bad.

i honestly thought rom was gonna have a 2nd form because how easy he was

Chalice Dungeons and optional areas (I missed one nice one on my first run) make the main story easier.

I died more to him than any boss. The worst boss is Amygdala though. Not even kind of fun.

Least favorite souls game.
Still good though.

Defiled Chalice Amygdala is one of my fav fights
I'll fight you
