Only for porn

i've had my oculus rift for about 3 weeks now and yes i would say it is worth it. IF you have the rig.

that black friday deal was too good to pass up. plus they had these 'complete your collection' bundles that were lik $70 each but had a ton of games so i got a couple of those too.

i've noticed there are quite a lot of social things going on in vr nowadays. there's steam home, there's rec room, there's vr chat.

also one of my favourite things about vr is google earth. pretty breath taking the first time you use it.

No. This stuff was too early. It's going to take way more time for VR gaming to be a proper thing. We needed at least another 20 years.

i mean that black friday deal was 50$ off. im still gonna wait.

VR porn is overrated desu

You won't develop a brain in even 100 years.

Yes but it's clear they're only scraping the surface of what VR games can do

This.
When I got my VR I was not thinking about playing vidya on it first. But VR Porn was a real let down..

SUICIDE IS PAINLESS

VR hardware makers needs game developers and other media outlets to make products for their hardware so it will sell.
Game developers and other media outlets are waiting for VR to take off before they make products for them so that they will sell.
Meanwhile, John Q Public dismisses the outlet as a fad.

Vr chat as autistic as it is it's the only fun thing to do with VR as of now

IT BRINGS ON MANY CHANGES

Also if you live with roommates or family, fapping with a screen strapped to your face and headphones on is real risky.

>only for headpats, nose rubbing, and licks from other dudes pretending to be anime chicks
fixed

>wahhh it's not real vr it's just a monitor strapped to your face wake me up when i can jack into the matrix
retards who say this are unbearable
>wahhh it's not real teleportation it's just getting into a moving box wake me up when i can get beamed aboard the enterprise

starting VR for the first time is like being a child during Xmas,
shit is definitively immersive and fun enough, the only deal is that games developped for VR are mostly just X simulator and not realy high budget, so it's really rare to stumble on a good gem for now but when you do, you get hooked really good.
movie porns are awful but the 3DVR hentai shit the japanese pulls are more than good enough to beat my shit into pulp.

i'll admit i spend most of my time in VRchat when i take a break from Fps VR lately, but overall i still can't wipe out that half smile everytime i turn on VR.
People spamming VR is a mistake just have no job.

Is that the song from MASH?

>starting VR for the first time is like being a child during Xmas,
perfect way to describe it really. trying my oculus for the first time was like the first time i booted up my original xbox on christmas day and playing jet set radio future.

still not bored of vr yet. and with skyrim vr and re7 vr coming in the next few months i doubt i'll be quitting it any time soon.

Aye

You tell me.

>All the porn is anime shit and ugly mainstream porn actors.
>No superior western girls.

>My friend got meme'd into buying PS4 VR

>jet set radio
You should check out Sprint Vektor. Sign up for the beta. Not really the same thing but it's you'd probably like it.

anyone else playing fallout 4 VR? I'm pleased that it doesn't look like absolute shit since one of the main issues with Skyrim VR was that it had to basically be forced to low settings to run on VR...but that was console PSV4. Glad FO4 VR lets you tweak the settings since it's on PC.

Also my legs fucking hurt damn

There is just no good content for a good VR like the Vive. Just tons of cardboard shit.

Rez infinite is fucking amazing
Too bad it's short

Nigga do you even waifu simulator?
I've deposited enough protein to rebuild Kharak, to all my favorite 2d sluts. All it takes is a bit effort to gather models and animations, and it is just like your japanese animes.

you have to play skyrim vr on low settings to play it on psvr? just how shit is psvr if it can't run a 6 year old game with good graphics?

Is there a vr game where I cazn look up skirts pleas help

vrchat

it exists but you might not be ready for it

>waifu simulator
I tried that once and it was shit.
>All it takes is a bit effort to gather models and animations
Hit the nail on the head. No good resources or compiled info on this since no one gives a shit about VR. I stood on some empty slab of concrete and stared at a chick's tit while she did nothing

Does this game work without VR? I read they patched out kb+mouse support.

>Sprint Vector

I'm pretty hyped for it personally.

gonna be playing minecraft in vr tonight. it's going to be interesting to see how different the exploration is in vr compared to desktop. also gonna be weird seeing how big blocks actually are.

If you're not prepared to do the minimal effort of even downloading someone else's compilations, then you deserve to fap to shitty VR porn.
Just fucking google it, and you'll find all you'd ever need. I torrented a 50GB rar with only MMD models just to find the ones I wanted.

How do I find models of obscure waifus

FACT: 99% of people who shit on VR have never tried it.

I too was one of those people. Then I finally got a PSVR and a Rift this past black friday, and I have been having a fucking blast. RE7 in VR is fucking terrifying, the single best gaming experience I have ever had in 30 years of gaming.

Robo Recall is incredibly fun, and the beauty of the Rift is, PC VR has countless free and cheap experiences. Like Google Earth VR. Literally explore the entire planet in VR, even go down into street view for a 360 view of ANY FUCKING STREET on the planet that google has mapped. I cant describe how it feels soaring like superman over the Earth and exploring every inch of it.

And last, I love Flight Simulator X, and there is this program called FlyInsideFSX that allows you to play FSX in VR. Absolutely amazing.

If you are on the fence, don't be. VR is the shit. PSVR, Rift, and even the expensive as fuck Vive are amazing if you can afford it. Go pick it up, you will NOT regret it.

VR is not a game, it is an experience. Experiences have a much stronger affect on the mind.

Is it really? Being a gtsfag, VR is basically my only chance of ever achieving sexual relief.

It's actually amazing.

i would say only go for the vive if you have the room for it. otherwise go rift because with 3 sensors the rift does roomscale fine in small to medium room sizes.

VR porn is a whole other level. Literal 3d boobies in your face. It is indescribable how good it is. It feels like you're actually fucking a real person.

What is a good VR set? Do they come with controllers too for gaming or are those sold separately? I want to try some Serious Sam in VR after the obligatory fap session.

yeah I forgot to mention this. Vive is definitely not for someone with a small room. Rift and PSVR are fine for that. But Vive is for people who can set it up in a large living room, or a dedicated room.

You know that feeling you get when you're with a chick (for the first time only, after that this doesn't happen anymore) and she's about take off her clothes and you just know you're about to see some ass and tiddy? that feeling of pre-erection without even touching or thinking of anything? of course you don't

You get that feeling the first time you try a VR porn game. It feels that real. But after the first time it's just fap fodder

Occulus is the only serious contender. Sadly you can't get it without those useless ass wiimotes.

It depends on the person. It has some flaws right now and it'll be up to you whether they annoy you enough to be turned off entirely from the experience.

No it doesn't, never did.

>Occulus
>useless as wiimotes

Just stop posting right now my dude.

See, I have customized a good GTS game that has a "3D stereo" mode. I don't know what it means but it looks fucking weird.

More importantly, can you set the helmet so that looking around IRL is like looking around in the game, I.E. moving your mouse around?

Vive is the way to go mate
Fuck occulus with they "exclusive" shit and fuck zuckerberg

I'm pretty sure 1.0 did, but then they patched it out.

>can you set the helmet so that looking around IRL is like looking around in the game
Nigger have you ever even tried VR? What the fuck do you think VR is. Yes if you move your head you move in the game

Had mine about 2 months, it has it's moments but the software pool is still pretty bad

The half-assed releases by bethesda probably won't do any further development by other companies any favours thanks to the backlash

yeah I dont get this. the rift controllers are amazing. the tracking, and they are comfortable as fuck. Having hands in a game adds 50% immersion imo.

>All my idiot friends sticking their smartphones into a cardboard box
>Not even sure if actual VR is all that different

My only regret is that I got a 1070 GPU and it chugs on ultra in VR. Is there any way to get money for this used 1070 then use that money (plus some of my own stash) to buy a 1080ti?

Feels like a waste to spend 800 bucks on a 1080ti and still have a 1070 laying around collecting dust.

Just google it. There are even several boorus for mmd models.
Here's a large pack I think should still be up:
notinfested.deviantart.com/art/MMD-Collection-giveaway-31-aug-2013-56-7GB-397387521

If you think VR motion controllers are the same thing as wiimotes, you really don't know shit and should stop pretending your opinion means anything.

Not if they're not programmed for VR.

Yes, demand for 1070 is quite high.

>Yes, demand for 1070 is quite high.
I meant like where/how do I sell this thing. I've never really sold a used PC part.

>of course you don't
Fuk you!

Trust neither of these niggers
The motion controls aren't even remotely similar to the wiimotes. And who fucking types oculus with two "c"s like really now.

the touch controllers are pretty great. the tracking is very good.

i have a small nose so i can see out of my rift through the nose gap. first time i used my rift i was looking at my hands on the touch controllers in vr and then looking out of the headset through the nose gap i could see where it connect up with my wrists and hands. really seamless. and then grabbing actions are probably the most untuitive action ever with those controllers.

i think the vive's knuckle controllers will probably be even better though. and if you have those you could strap your vive controllers to your feet and track your feet/legs too

Cardboard is pretty decent for videos, It just suffers from tracking drift sometimes. VR on PC is going to be better with the hand controls and more processing power though.

I think the nose gap is intentional. You don't notice it unless you're looking directly down and like you say, it's handy for a quick peek into the real world to check where your standing or to click something on the pc.

Anyone else try Dash? It's fucking revolutionary. I've used the SteamVR desktop thing before, but it's really not the same. If the headset resolution was a bit higher I could see myself just living in VR. With Dash I'd never have to take off the headset to fiddle around with shit on my PC. There's no lag with it, I can pin multiple windows wherever I want while still playing different games, and because of Carmack's CTWL magic sauce the text looks sharper than it has been in any piece of VR software before.

It's essentially Steam Home with one room but I'm glad they added a means to view the desktop from inside the headset.

matsix is mai waifu

Don't really care about the Home crap, it's unnecessary and is more of an aesthetics thing. Dash is great though and it's much more than just being able to see the desktop in VR, otherwise Virtual Desktop or Bigscreen or something would have been enough. Heck there was OVRDrop and "V" which let you overlay a window in VR but they still didn't work very good.

Any good escape or puzzle games in VR? Already played Adobe and Talos Principle without VR.

lol no

I Expect You To Die
Form is really good looking but the puzzles are really simple.
