literally just implement a soft auto-locking feature thats softly affixed to enemies and is actve while attacking when nearby ( an inch away from ) enemies and facing in their general direction
this would fix the whole fighting multiple mobs and bosses at once issue instead of that abysmal target lock that fucks up the camera
Literally just implement a soft auto-locking feature thats softly affixed to enemies and is actve while attacking when...
Or just don't lock on, git gud, and learn to aim in the direction you know would make your weapon hit multiple enemies at once?
m8 dont be coming here and telling me that you never missed multiple fucking times without a target lock
especially during boss fight when you try to twist the camera back around after dodging and trying to aim towards the general direction
No
why?
a feature similar to that of rockstars red dead redemption soft lock aiming but for close quarter combat would be a bad idea?
it wouldn`t ruin your precious safe space of gid gudness for this game it would only alleviate the problem with the shitty target lock feature with its camera angle problems and fighting with multiple enemies at ones
There's no problems with lock-on feature at all
Unless you're playing with mouse+keyboard, which is wrong and you should be ashamed
that's a retarded idea. figuring out the most effective way to use your weapon's timing and hitbox is part of the fun. if you're fighting multiple enemies you swing wide, and if you try to stab one you'd better fucking make sure it's aimed right. just because you suck dick at basic mechanics doesn't mean the series needs to be casualised.
Griefer
seriously get fuckin good
it takes a bit of getting used to but mixing between free look and lock on is how you should play the game, and is infinitely superior to expecting the game to know exactly what you want to be attacking.
God damnt not another thread about people wanting soft auto-locking in souls games.
No wait, it's just you.
go play a different game and stop bullying
The problem is that you're using a controller for a game that emphasizes camera manipulation and wanting lock-on to fix that.
>The problem is that you're using a controller for a game
I actually don't have any problems with the game's controls, what are you talking about
You wouldn't need lock-on if you could handle the camera
I don't use lock-on when I need to handle the camera. If I need camera control, I just use the right stick and it works like a charm
>lock on if you're 1v1
>don't lock on vs big guys or multiple enemies, switch to a weapon with wide, sweeping attacks
There, it's literally a non-issue.
>game made with controller in mind as the primary input method
>y-your problem is that you know to toggle lock and unlock properly which you only need to do with a controller
>stop telling me to get good guys
I never had any problem with the auto lock in dark souls
Even for boss like midir and nameless. It's a very good lock compared to disastrous one like in monster hunter world
fuck off all the faggots claiming "Git gud" i've been saying that shit since the first darksouls: the camera is GARBAGE, and it SHOULD be fixed. Theres a difference between the game being difficult and the game being difficult because the camera decided to wonk and spasm when in awkward positions or when boss jumps above you or when you walk near a wall. though i think a better solution to the problem is simply zoom the camera out a bit when in tight situations, seriously fuck this stupid pride holding you from realizing that the camera straight up sucks balls in all the souls games and no its not "casualising" the game.
Only a problem with thrusting weapons, where it's part of their balance.
What they need to fix is the awful fucking camera, especially as their hard on for flailing, screen obscuring bosses gets harder. with each game
I didn't tell you to get good. I told you to get a controller
>I shouldnt have to get good, stop hurting my feelings
>BB2
>Screenbeast
>It's a giant whose only visible portion when locked on is an angle so footfags never shut up about it
>2nd phase straight up mimics graphical glitches like Castlevania Bloodlines
played with both and im not OP
git gud maybe
>angle
*ankle
Then try to practice your right stick camera control ability
