Eh I find GG/KOF/Tekken matches all the time without the same people over and over. Plus the player base is more dedicated as a whole and better. I bet you're some silver scrub too at best maybe a low gold. SFV is the first game where you can beat shitters consistently so you dick ride it.

Xrd isn’t too easy to pick up but if you’re playing online it’s going to be mostly in unranked player lobbies so you’ll probably get your ass kicked until you get used to it.

I'm a Ky main and Kum/Faust sub with minor fucking around in Potemkin/Sol. GG isn't that hard to get into. Its like Tekken where at first its overbearing mechanically and its a lot deeper then SF. Once you get accustomed to mechanics and BnBs/the pacing its not too bad. Id suggest playing Ky/Sol/Potemkin at first with my experience. Faust and Kum aren't hard but not easy at the start they have a lot of specific situations you have to have a feel for the game to capitalize on.

Compared to SFV its a whole hell of a lot harder. But if you ever got decent at something like SF4 picking it up atleast is about the same. GG is a lot more complex with the options you have but reaching competent play isn't as bad as they make it.

KOF and Tekken are alittle harder to get into. Mostly because they surprising have a lot of bad players. KOF its hard to find super lively scenes so this sucks even more when everyone is trash.

Guilty Gear is a bit tricky, but the learning resources are vast and the tutorial is robust. If you get it on PS4, it's plenty active too.

SFV has an input buffer so unless the combo requires a step forward which is very rare it's all babby shit a retarded monkey could do.

Rev 2 is the most balanced GG in general and options are huge. Neutral is stronger then AC+R where shitters like Zappa/Zato ended it in a moment in a lot of MUs for the silliest set play in the series.

Slightly slower pace better balance 95% of the same options. Slashbacks and ex moves were stupid since some characters had shit ones. Xrd did a great job generalizing mechanics to almost all be the same with everyone.

Funnily enough, Abigail is probably one of the most technically difficult character in V because he has combos that require precise charging, which the input buffer can't help with. Sakura will probably be fairly straightforward outside of some juggles and v trigger shenanagins.

GG is super complex too. Not him KOF is complex in its own way. I don't personally care which is more complex I also started learning Tekken 7 for Geese and its been very fun so far especially since I started a week before the PS4 getting fixed.

That being said I have several friends who supposedly good in their scene at Tekken to learn from quickly. But I bash 2 or so of them who also play GG pretty badly and one of them at KOF very very badly in most sets score wise.

Besides the dumbest shit in SC games which is usually just 1-2 characters with specific carry tomfollery like Hilda in 4 I always found SC to be a good far cry from Tekken but deeper game then shit like DOA.

Its still a nice series since its complex enough where besides the once in awhile stupid balancing the better player wins consistently with fundamental play.
