Do you think they can ever return to their former glory? Decent video from Max on the topic.

Do you think they can ever return to their former glory? Decent video from Max on the topic
literally who
Itsuno is all the talent they have left so no.
Not unless they come out with a new series to take the community by storm. Chances of that happening are slim.
If AE is good and DMC5 actually comes out at some point i will stop wishing bankruptcy uppon them.
Just because they aren't as far removed from their fanbases and IPs as they have been we can't forget how many times it took for them to fuck up before getting back on course.
>max
Fuck that dick rider and fuck him
For paying both sides he wants to be critical but isn’t willing to burn that capcom bridge he has because he loses early access to shit.
They have to fix mvci to start a game looking that ugly with horrible animations hat look about as good as a phone games is a disgrace
Anyone who says “no they just need to add the X-men” are retarded as more people hate it for its presentation
No, because back in the old days they had Kitamura, Nishitani, Akiman, and other geniuses in game design working there. They have mostly literal amateurs springboarding off the old guard but with no mentorship from said old guard and thus they are as aimless as a cloud. Also any old people left there can't do jack shit especially with no synergy with the new crew of people they work with. And Ono was only ever a sound engineer.
>CapGod
>Lol they took 8 years but they made Megaman 11!
>Lol Street Fighter Collection pack!! AWESOME
>Lol DMC Collection pack!! SAVIORS OF GAMING
>Lol more Street Fighter V DLC!!! THEY'RE BACK BABY
>Lol more Marvel Infinite DLC!! CAPCOM IS GOD
what the fuck did i just watch
Most of it are rehashes and collectilns, but people want them I guess. That's the point. Particularly I want MMX collection
So there is a roomer going around from Chris Gs stream that MvC:I is already losing support half way into the next year.
You guys think that's likely?
I mean, everyone knows the game did bad but did it really do so bad that not even e-sporst bucks can save it?
>roomer
lel, meant rumor
>Street Fighter Collection pack!!
To be honest I'm just wondering why they didn't do this one sooner.
CHINDER
Not sure how much faith I'd put in that. He said something to that effect during MvC3 when he was getting used to the game. That whole outlook changed when he started winning more often. He just looks like he's back to that shtick again.
I'm still baffled how in the same release window they managed to successfully reboot Resident Evil for the second time by "going back to their roots' while simultaneously absolutely colossally and magnificently fuck up Dead Rising 4 by """"""""""Going back to their roots"""""""""".
Like for real i can't name any director at capcom anymore other than Itsuno.
Was the thing about most of the good guys leaving after Inafune left true?
Max doing it for free but also paid
>Chris G
I hope you realize that faggot is literally all doom and gloom as soon as things don't go his way. It's why he's often so hated as both a person and as a player, plays well but as soon as things are not going his way in a match he seems to just give up.
I wish they could make some stylish off the wall games again. Get the director who did Ghost Trick back, please.
That's Shu Takumi. Director of the original Ace Attorney trilogy. His latest project is Dai Gyakuten Saiban, a new Ace Attorney series that hasn't been localized.
EVO handlers are asking people if the game is dead or not because they don't even know whether to have it in the line up consider the stone tournament or whatever had almost no audience
Apparently you didn't watch anything because he didn't say that at all.
Not only is he still there he directed two games in the past two years.
Apparently (YOU) didn't watch it, because thats literally what he lists as to what Capcom is doing right.
Damn, Yipps must be pulling his hair out at this point.
He says they're improving. He never says that Capcom is god.
I used to play all their shit when I was younger
>resident evil
>viewtiful Joe
>Onimusha
>Okami
>Megaman, especially the battle network games
>DMC
Now all they've got is Monster Hunter. I don't know if the entire industry is producing as much enjoyment for me as I used to get from just Capcom.
No; far too much of their ‘80s to mid-‘00s talent is long gone.
It will never be localized.
The MH team did a damn good job with World though
>hates artificial esports bullshit
how is he not /ourguy/?
>those times in kofxiii tournaments where he's clearly losing so he just stops doing anything and lets the opponent beat him
>reynald looked at him confused
They NEED to start making actually new shit again before they can even come close to what they used to be. Deep Down is the only new IP they've announced this generation and its more than likely been canceled at this point.
He looks too much like Kad Chroeger to be /ourguy/
sorry that's just the nature of it
Since Disney and Fox finally got a deal for Marvel License, maybe capcom can finally make that X-men add-on?
you are fucking retarded though
he was complaining and talking about how to fix mvci and that it should get free dlc like SFV does
the SF collection is indeed awesome
the SFV AE is a free dlc update and it also looks awesome
you also didn't mention that he was talking about:
Monster Hunter World actually being great
RE7 together with the free dlc being good
dmc5 very likely being announced soon
REmake2 also happening
the only stupid thing to be hyped about was the DMC HD collection coming to ps4.
>DMC HD collection coming to ps4.
Also PC
CHANDER
No
The real answer: No.
Literally talent that made Capcom a household name during 4th/5th/6th gen is gone.
I want more experimental stuff like Dragon's Dogma. I want more new IPs but Capcom is too greedy and relies on their popular IPs to keep them afloat
