what's your favorite game and why?

Tales of Vesperia. First Tales game I've ever played. Fell in love with the characters, story, and music. I replay at least once a year.

MGS2 probably. The final codec sequence.

life, because endless amount of sex

I don't have a favorite game.

medievil

I played it on a Pizza hut demo cd and I wanted the full game forever and when I finally got it, it was totally worth it. Beaten it multiple times

I've gotten to a point where I can't pick just one

botw. It delivered the open world game I always wanted.

Jet Set Radio Future

Stylish neon colors.
Memorable soundtrack.
Ridiculously over the top
Simple concept.

I love it.

Persona 4G, it's hard to pick a single reason. I think it's the perfect example of the sum being better than it's parts

shut up dont look its a spoil of star wars

When you knew scapegoat wax before JSRF and everybody thinks your a liar

I still love 3 over 4. maybe it's the ending that got me

good taste my man

the movie is trash and disney is deleting threads left and right. just go to Sup Forums and see for yourself

Devil May Cry 1.

Played it back when it was released and blew my mind then. Many people consider it dated today, and I can agree on accounts of the first person underwater segments(Which will last you a minute tops), as well as some of the camera angles. Anyone talking about the combat being dated however, can be excused right out of the door for the underage retards they are. Because it still plays great, there's a variance in the moves and the game only gets better on repeated playthroughs; where the game's true difficulty lies. Just try S-Ranking every mission in the game. It's satisfying in and of itself. It's an excellent action game, made with the best elements of Resident Evil's atmosphere.

I never actually played the 2nd one but I did play the PSP one

the last jedi is a niglet stableboy

2nd one is decent gameplay wise but the art direction got fucked up. Play it by all means, you'll like it

I heard the 2nd one is harder then the first

Zelda 2. Fight me.

Check this one. Non-linear, 3D platformer. 15 Stages. Great music, and you can fly.

I like zelda 2 user

>endless amount of sex
haha right there with you bro am i right guys. oh the lots of sex im getting. haha like i cant stop bro. im not lying i swear.

I had more trouble with 1 fighting the camera

Majora's mask. Nostalgia and it's a great game.

My main trouble is some of the platforming.

Especially in the forest level where you have to jump on the elevator to get to the bird nest

Ace Combat Zero

Story, characters, themes, pacing, mission design, atmosphere, graphics (for the time), gameplay, music, everything was perfect

PSO: EP 1&2

Taking my Gamecube memory card to my friends house so we can play split-screen was great fun

This.
I admit nostalgia plays a role, but the unique setting and gameplay got to me. part of the reason I didn't like the sequel as much

ghost ship and pools of the ancient dead were bullshit

as generic as it is my favorite games come down to SM64, OOT, and Dark Souls 1, probably because of how the world loops back in on itself in all three
>falling into the water in Hazy Maze Cave and ending up back outside Peach's Castle
>diving into the pond in Lost Woods and arriving outside Zora's Domain
>taking the elevator in Undead Parish only to be back at Firelink Shrine
I can't get enough of that shit

Pools of the ancient dead is the worst. The whole level is just jumping gaps of death and even to get to energy pools you have to jump

Have made it a tradition to replay it every halloween. I'm glad that it's making a return, but skeptical if what made it great in the first place will remain in place. At least we always have the originals.

Second one is just ok. The PSP is absolute trash as far as i'm concerned. They took the dark humor of the original and cranked it up to RANDUMB. I hope the remaster does not take from this game at all. The less mentioned about it, the better.

Ape escape 3.
Tons of content and a really inventive control layout. Seriously, it nailed motion to action with just a dualshock while early wii was just shake to hit.

Do you also enjoy the idea of connected worlds? Like how in Sunshine you can almost always see another area off in the distance. Never played Dark Souls myself but I assume that is also the same for that game.
None the less, I agree that is some good shit

Mass Effect Trilogy
Made me feel like I actually had friends

>
IMO, besides the great gameplay and the style.
Going to the hall of heroes and having all the fallen warriors speak to you and there sense of humor. It all meshed together well that you were in we.. medieval history

best platformer ever made. still replay it every now and then.

star fox 64...it makes me sad

Ocarina of Time, the dungeons are pure kino

agree.
t.PSX babby who emulated OoT in 2015

>Forest Temple is shaped like a skull
>the uppermost areas of the Fire Temple can be seen in Death Mountain crater
>ceiling of the Water Temple is curved to match the island on Lake Hylia
>Spirit Temple leads you back outside onto both palms of the Goddess statue
every other dungeon in later Zeldas feel completely detached from the world around them
