So when do they buy Nintendo?
>inb4 too expensive
They just bought Fox for over 50 billions so I don't think money is a problem anymore.

Disney kills any game project they touch. I don't want them anywhere NEAR a big name dev studio.
>I don't want them anywhere NEAR a big name dev studio except EA.
FIFY user.
this.
If you think EAis bad wait till you see what a multinational profit oriented company does.
Thanks user
>the Disney slaves still spamming that hot new redddit meme, unable to understand how laws work in this reality
When do they make their own console? Can't be that hard.
It has to be consensual.
All Will Belong To The Mouse In Time user
Nintendo will bitch the fuck out when Disney all but guarantees they win the gaming scene forever.
>implying it isnt more likely for them to buy sony so they can get the box office from the spider man movies
Japanese companies can't be legally purchased by dirty gaijin companies.
>Nintendo
Nintendo's already got the Universal parks going.
Really, if anyone they'd buy Sony, and that's assuming they want to suddenly go into competition with Nintendo because there goes all the 3DS and Switch games. Video games are a different beast than a film studios, as they are in any big player working on isolating games to a single platform. Digital distribution might work for that, but with physical forms of consoles, locking into one type of console only is asking for market cutting from the start.
I don't know how it works without a lot of problems.
>Like Star Wars
>Don't want to support Disney being the only producer of worth while movies franchises
Hard decision
They already tried to buy seeeeega.
me big mouse me want all supahheroes
Really? Details on this?
Nintendo is publicly traded, they just save up their money so that they can buy up all the stocks in case of an attempt of a hostile takeover.
Plus, Nintendo is owned by the Yakuza and they don't take kindly to foreigners.
like ubi and vivendi?
Microsoft tried and Nintendo told them to fuck off
Which beloved classic Disney attraction are they going to destroy next
>They just bought Fox for over 50 billions
Wow, maybe they'll be able to buy just Pokemon alone if they spend a little more.

Okay that's ridiculous. Disney would only be interesed in Nintendo if they could make for a profitable multi-media empire. So they want movies and tv shows. And videogame movies and tv suck fuckshit. But if that Mario movie does okay it's on the table that they could try to cut a deal to make the films for them.
Also Sony is most likely anyway because Spiderman. But they are more likely to buy just Spiderman rather that the whole fucking thing.
Basically, Nintendo Cinematic Universe when?
That actually looks better. The Hollywood tower was nice and all but it had lost its charm nowadays.
Of that list, they own 9 of the franchises listed there. Soon to be 12 with the Fox adquisition so. It's not that far off. Not to mention Pokemon isn't totally nintendo's.
Honestly, Disney would improve EA. Their spine is much more bendy and their balls considerably smaller than EA's. So they'd be more likely to pussy out on everything controversial than EA.
It'd just be the blandest and most uninteresting games ever made on big budgets. Which is pretty much kinda like EA is anyway, but without the spine to go balls deep on anti-consumer monetization.
Fifteen or so years ago Disney was interested in purchasing sega. disney then changed their mind and chose not to do it. Probablyfor the better.
The Tower of Terror is still in Hollywood Studios where it came from.
...
>probably for the better
For Disney or Sega?
The point is Nintendo would be extremely expensive, much more than the Fox deal. Also Nintendo owns much of its own stock so it's not going to get bought out unless it wants to.
>Not to mention Pokemon isn't totally nintendo's.
It's pretty complicated but they own the majority.
So does this mean that all those Alien babies are Disney princesses now?
