Have you actually tried playing it in hard before shitposting about how easy it is?
I haven't played it at all, I just look at fan art. I don't think I even know what it's called.
Why is there no A2 fanart?
I played it through completely on my first time as hard you dipshit. As long as you spam the dodge you'll be fine.
just beat ending A
Does it explain more in the other endings, or was I just supposed to do more sidequests?
You literally cannot die in this game. Apart from the intro sequence you can theoretically tank every single enemy hit and just spam healing items.
Calling ending a an ending is a misnomer. It's more like chapter A. You're only like 1/3 of the way through the game
not to mention the autoheal chips
It's impossible not to be hard while playing this game
I thought there was 5 endings in this one. Are the other endings just shorter or something?
On a different note, are there any missable sidequests?
It's a misnomer, don't think of them as different endings. They aren't alternate endings, they all take place after one another. You just finished the first act of the game out of 3.
There aren't any missable sidequests, you can go back to any point in the story after you beat the game.
I started out on hard. too bad I'm the minmaxing type and reached lvl 99 near the start of route b
Oh interesting. How are the chapters compared to the endings in Nier?
It's not like the first Nier, where the 4 endings are literally just expanded versions of the same scene. Each "ending" in Automata has a whole new chapter's worth of content accompanying it.
>start game on hard
>die in one hit
INNAPROPRIATE
>end the game on hard
>oneshot literally everything
This guy answered that question here.
Why did you even post? It’s obvious your just horny and need to masturbate because you answered to something that wasn’t even asked
Oh shit that's really cool. Will the chapters explain Emile and Devola/Popola or is there sidequests for those?
Emil's plotline is mostly through sidequests, but Devola and Popola are during the main story
Also, just to clarify, there are 3 acts to the game. The first 2 end with endings A and B, but the 3rd one ends with C or D depending on a choice you make towards the end of the chapter. Once you get both C and D, then you get ending E which is the game's true ending, but doesn't have another chapter accompanying it.
Will I need all the weapons to get the true ending like in Nier?
No, but you need all the weapons fully upgraded to fight an optional superboss. I won't spoil it, but it's very worth doing.
Fuck
Thanks for answering all my questions anons
one last one
How ruined will the game be if I got spoiled on 2B's death?
All I know is that she dies, nothing about it
Eh, it's a pretty fantastic moment if you don't see it coming, but it's definitely not the best moment of the game or anything. You'll be fine
god damn it
Thanks mate
>smash square to win
You don't even need healing items, between lifesteal and regen you're basically invicible without even getting anything besides weapon upgrades. You basically always do more dps than the enemy so even if they're hitting you you just regen all of it back whil you're both hitting eachother, combine this with anti-stun, regen on kill, and others and you're unstoppable, this is without needing the ability to dodge or have any skill whatsoever, if you have the competency to breathe air, you'll be godlike no matter what.
Do you realize how few people actually made it to the part where you play as A2? You get a trophy when you first play as A2 and it's rare.
I've died twice by getting smashed in the factory.
There's a lot of it, but not as much as 2B for sure.
That only covers the PlayStation users.
Normal is just one-shotting everything with shockwave chip spears. Hard doesn't change that. Its a good game, but lets not pretend its difficult when its not.
>They aren't alternate endings
Only as far as A/B. C and D are alternate endings. D also has two alternatives. Though all can lead to E, which is fucking stupid.
C is where only 9S survives and we don't know what the fuck happens to him. D either has 9S stay behind or go on the ark which should have an effect on ending E, but we don't really much of anything in the game. A/B felt like more of a conclusion than the actual endings.
>If you dont play a game on HP sponge/1hitdeath mode you cant complain about difficulty
>Though all can lead to E
Can you imagine how few people would have gotten it if it weren't the case?
The original intent was probably to only have the "I'll stay" choice lead to it, but they probably determined it was too much.
The stageplay with the super sad "fake" ending seems to take place after the "I'll go" choice.
Yeah, it's a satisfying challenge at first but it gets too easy at the end if you do all sidequests, since you get way overleveled, and your level counts for a shitload in terms of how much damage you do and how much damage you take. It needed some higher level shit at the end, even if just in some of the side areas and not the main story path. I guess the DLC sort-of fixed that, though they're just arenas.
>D-DARK SOULS IS HARD IF YOU DONT ROLL
Literally the same you embarrassing fuck.
People who got that far in the game seem to at least try for all the endings. Pretty sure you have to get both C and D to unlock E.
I do think that ending D "I'll stay" should be the only route that leads to E where everyone wakes up and D "I'll go" is where everyone except 9S wakes up. Too bad the game itself doesn't expand on this at all. Also too bad they say what happens to 9S in ending C.
It's sad how few people actually bother to finish games.
>A Beautiful Song plays when 9S first encounters N2
>this is because N2 loves him in its own twisted way
>while also sharing the same battle song, Simone's story of unrequited love directly mirrors N2, and her search for love was most likely a side effect of being part of the N2 network
I thought the boss fight was pointless platinum shit till I thought about it more. Wonder if any other bosses hold this much relevance to the plot.
Sauce?
I remember spending a lot of time on this game but now that I think about it the actual meat of the story was so short. A/B felt longer because of all the sidequest, but 2B and A2 didn't even have much dialogue. Then route C is just a massive info dump you mostly have to read through and then it's all over.
Here's some
