It's frustrating. The salvage mechanic was super interesting and unique but it was by no means used to it's fullest potential

So I think that's all of them. FT Chica is unposessed/has no malicious functionality and functionally a regular animatronic, and the same goes for the original crew's repros, Trash and the Gang, the rest of Posh Pizzeria, and Mediocre Melodies.

I understood none of that and it makes me happy. I'm just here to shitpost about how FNAF is gay

Yea I get that's whats implied, but since they were never burned, I would accept a retcon for the sake of more gameplay

True, but that doesn't mean they couldn't have had Salvage segments. The whole point of the salvaging was to check which animatronics we're hostile and which weren't. I wouldn't have minded seeing a few of them show up and not respond at all to the noise. It would have made the animatronics that ARE hostile that much more interesting

Plus, if baby wasnt part of enard anymore, they could have broken him up even further and had the return of Ballora and funtime Freddy. Maybe even give Scrap Puppet Bonnie a segment, as silly as that sounds.

Even the OP would have been really cool. I know Twisted Ones isn't canon, and salvaging them wouldn't make a whole lot of sense in the continuity, but they could have been a great addition if Scott made it work.

They were laid to rest in the "good" ending of 3.
The toys were already dismantled by the events of 3 as well, since they were decommissioned in 2's ending and the only remaining parts were a few shell bits. Also, save for Lefty, the ones in 6 are attracted by an outside lure and are all sentient. They were lured because they were the last ones left, an exception rather than wanting to actually destroy the things since he wanted to end the ones that were conscious.

Yeah Molten Freddy was kind of eh, but I think that was more of an excuse to destroy Ennard than anything, since without Baby as the dominant AI controlling the construct, it fell to Freddy.
I think it would have been more practical simply to make the Mediocre Melodies, Posh Pizzeria, etc. into ones that would roam at night in a custom sort of thing than bring back ones that have been settled or broken.

"Killer animatronics" is a good gimmick for a horror film.
It's a shame, then, that Scott Cawthon fumbled the ball so hard with it and made the sequels literally for reddit.

Why these specific animatronics?

Sister Location had the best animatronic in the series so I'm happy.

Because 6 is about Henry luring William Afton, Elizabeth, the children's souls inside Molten Freddy, and his daughter's soul inside the Puppet inside L.E.F.T.E. into a bogus pizzeria so he could destroy and release them once and for all. Michael Afton taking the job completed the purging of the Fazbear's nightmare legacy, now everything is at peace.

Because those were the last ones and the objective of the game was to put at end with fire.
