I was prudish even in middle school. For example, i love Grandia, but Feena's design was anti-immersive for me. She was the least dressed character in the game and she lived on the top of a windy mountain. HOWEVER i finished Grandia and most others games of the time without noticing those designs because of the low resolution. It's only with the PS3 and later that i started noticing really bad character design in certain games. I want story and gameplay from games i buy, not a constant stream of masturbation material. In the case of Grandia and the vast majority of gen 5-6 games i simply couldn't see the little fanservice there was, while XC2 shoves it my face with camera angles all the fucking time, as if i needed to spend 60$ on poorly animated 3d porn. It's bullshit.
