Okami

So how far have you fellas gotten?
Just cured the emperor. The boss fight was pretty interesting, though once you remember everything, it does become a cakewalk.

Also, Rao's theme is pretty great

I actually just started the mini-sized part en route to cure the emperor.

beat the game like 5 years ago

is there a new version or something

The game gets done really fast once you figure everything out. Guess that's part and parcel of a gimmick based combat system.

Yeah, got a PC release recently. Been enjoying it so far. Nothing much new except for 4K resolution and mouse support, and mouse support seems to let you draw much faster than if it were on a controller, so that's good too.

Switch port when?
Come on Capcom, stop being a little bitch

Mod to remove Issun and all the handholding bullshit when?

>switch
ditched

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA PCbros eating up the scraps of console games yet again? I beat this back in high school and you faggots are getting all excited over a near 10-year old game? Never change mustard race. Never change.

Same, but now we have mouse controls. Stop being a pleb

Issun's cool though.
I approve of removing the handholding though

Just gathering up the dog squad. I'm surprised how great the game looks, even though it's almost 12 years old. Just goes to show how far a good artstyle can carry.
You can skip cutscenes on NG now, so that's something.

But PS4 and Xbone also got the game for the first time.

Mouse controls for what? If you're going to argue that somehow makes it better, the fucking Wii port is infinitely easier if you're only comparison is how to control the fucking brush

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PC Mustard race at it again

>You can skip cutscenes on NG now, so that's something.
But can you skip all the camera panning shit whenever you do anything at all?
>Enter room
>Camera pans for 20 seconds showing every object of interest
>Activate switch
>Camera pans for 20 seconds showing what the switch did
Fucking infuriating, and it never stops even in the final dungeon.

the entire ost
is excellent

I believe you can do that with most at least.
I actually don't mind that stuff too much, so I rarely skip them, but every time I've tied it has worked.
You can even skip conversations when talking to rando NPCs.

Chill man, mouse is better than waggling a stick.

Did you try pressing F1?

This game looks cool but I struggle to even look at it for very long because of how blurry everything looks. Not to mention that letterboxing effect.

Well that's something, I guess. Though I still wish it could be disabled outright, rather than skipped every time it comes up.

I didn't try playing the PC release at all, user.

You really that fucking handicap you can't use motion controls which are developed for cripples or move your thumbs on analog sticks? Fucking hell man, I know you PCuks are morbidly obese but I didn't think you had so much fucking fat that you can't move your joints. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Still haven't beaten my ps3 copy, got to Yami and then I got a ps4 and forgot about Okami.

>didn't see THAT cutscene
You missed the best part user, the game really ends with a bang

I've already seen that on youtube

>ruining the best scene for yourself
I feel sad about this...
Not even anger
Simply sad.

I heard you can use the PS4 touchpad to draw shit.

Does the game autodetect PS4 controllers, or does it only recognize Xinput? Also, anyone know if Reset is in the game?

>yfw

It got an HD rerelease

if I pirate this do I really need to use joy to key type shit or is there a fix?

Get off my canvas

this game is 40 hours long what the fuck?

Haven't seen a fix for pirates yet. But KB+M controls are pretty good desu

Does the mouse stutter real bad for anyone else? I mainly use the controller but I was gonna mouse for drawing, but trying to draw a circle results in a shitty triangle because the mouse is so choppy.

Just did the beehive sidequest

Now I don't want to play anymore

It auto detects and works with ps4 controllers if you get through steam. Pirates workin on a way currently.

Yeah man. You'll get that whole "That was a good game, wait these aren't the credits, it's only half way done!" deal. Twice.

Played it on the Wii years ago. Was a fun Zelda like game running around making flowers. The only issue was drawing with the Wiimote sometimes fucked up. Seriously when it taught you how to bloom trees I failed over 10 times because it wouldn't register right.

Never made any sense that he could use the Divine Brush.

So how is the quality of the port? Is it better than emulating on Dolphin?

>he
Even fucking Issun can. Surely a werefox witch can too.

controller fix when?

Probably wouldn't run lmao
