The point is that Fallout has good games for people to remember fondly. Why anyone likes Daggerfall or Morrowind is beyond me.

TES games are much better than their attempts at fallout, they actually pay attention to the lore for one while in fallout nothing makes any sense, in elder scrolls there are usually multiple questlines and much more cities and many more systems in play.

Not him but RPGs are composed of part character management (inventory, stats, perks) and detective work (talking to people, solving puzzles, looking for clues) They're the lovechild of sims and point and click adventures.

Everyone else is a noble lusting for power or a necromancer that wants to become a god, yet all the Underking wants is to be allowed to die. He's the only one who doesn't use Numidium to slaughter his enemies, so giving the totem to him is the closest thing to a "good" ending Daggerfall has.
