I've left the game on sleep mode at times and the timer kept going. Most people here have inflated play times. I don't even like having those timers in the main menus of games. What's the point?

You can get a little fancy by step cancelling auto attacks (just flick the stick in any direction after an autoattack connects. Makes rex super fast) and blade switching. But otherwise no.

Not really, but all the waiting disappears since Mythra can just spam art into art into art without auto-attacking with decent enough crit.

Can anybody explain combos to me? I still have no clue what the top right orbs do or mean and I've been told spamming 4 level arts is wrong. How exactly do you use art combos?

It's a tree of which elements you need to use to do a blade combo, you don't need lvl 4 specials, but it works.

Anyhow, minimum lvls are lvl 1 for the first part, lvl2 for the 2nd part and lvl3 for the third part

Problem is that all damage pales in comparison to just full bursting orbs, so all ATK blades are shit if they don't make building blade combos faster. When you can hit damage cap on 5 orbs, there's no point in blades with damage boosters anymore. Good for the first half of the game though.
