How does this make you feel?

How does this make you feel?

Tired.

Makes my marrow all feel all fuzzy!

I don't know what this is, so nothing in particular.

I fucking hate set items. With random they always only spawn all but one piece just to cocktease you. Or you find the final part minutes before your mighty BONER pounds down the final gate

Completely erect

I made that 5500 power liches screenshot.

It feels good, man.

You're legend

I mean, I was actually surprised that I could get so many, since the game normally caps out at 2667 (4000 if you resurrect unupgraded units).

I think I was fighting multiple stacks of different high level units, to be able to resurrect 5500 power liches. It was probably a Pandora's Box. I don't remember... it was on this map though, and it was a stupid long map where in the end your pathing was actively fucked up by the innumerable random units popping up over time (fucking Inferno Grail).

What is this game where I can play a spooky skeleton necromancer?

>tfw can't play as a skeleton outside of strategy games

Come at me! Im ready!

Heroes of Might and Magic 3, also known as Game of the Year, All Years.

>use my banshee

Nothing personal, kid...

>tfw HOMM7 wasnt as terrible as expected
someone hold me Sup Forums. I think im going insane. If it wasnt for the long waiting times I wouldve played it more

>pick between Inferno and Dungeon, we can't make both, kid, also that will be 60 bucks :D

the worst part is they pillaged assets from HOMM6 and I have no idea why they couldnt make it work. Hell the Xpack didnt put in inferno either.

That said it did have some good points
>might and magic of each faction has 3 subtypes, offensive, defensive, neutral. To ensure each faction doesnt get themselves a weak hero type
>some artwork is pretty neat
>ability to speed up combat animations by 400% (although the are so insanely slow it feels like 200%)
>precise control over which secondary skills you unlock and the subskills introduced in HOMM5 are neatly woven into them
>autocombat with manual option next to it if teh auto result is disappointing
>added some more secondary resources
>flanking
>hero useage is a combo of HOMM5 direct attack and HOMM6 being able to always access your hero
>warcries to give might heroes buff spells for their units without having to learn spells

>those stacks
Stop this madness in the name of your king!

GODS I WAS STRONG

>precise control over which secondary skills you unlock
The inherent problem with this is that you always build every hero one predetermined way.
Skill balance is extremely poor.

>added some more secondary resources
You mean brought them back and for some reason made them random stupid madeup shit like blue steel, blue steel and more blue steel.

>flanking
This isn't a good thing. You have no control over which direction your unit faces after attack, you have no attacks of opportunity, it doesn't add any depth to the combat, it's just an annoyance that turns combat into a terrible spinny dance. The only depth that came out of flanking is that minotaurs retailate before the attack so they can't be flanked and you have to always attack them head on or you get flanking damage yourself. That's it. That's the only thing flanking did. Made minotaurs strong.

>autocombat with manual option next to it if teh auto result is disappointing
H3 HD has this and H6 had this too

>hero useage is a combo of HOMM5 direct attack and HOMM6 being able to always access your hero
What the fuck does this even mean

I'll give you stacks.

What the fuck are you even doing this late in game?

>The inherent problem with this is that you always build every hero one predetermined way.
In 3 you would always advance skills if you rolled a bad new secondary skill or pick the new secondary skill if its good. You would always go for wisdom, logistics, earth magic, etc.

>What the fuck does this even mean
when its your turn you can open your spellbook like in HOMM3 and also just do an attack like in HOMM5.

Flanking can be fine. You can chose to keep your unit further away to prevent someone from spinning around you. Sure it could use some work, like allowing you to chose the orientation after your movement, or maybe implement some system that prevents units from just slipping between two units and always go for a flanking attack. But I think for the next entry it could have some neat strategic implications.

>Artillery
you need to get a real hero user, Maximus is ruined

>those efreets

>>precise control over which secondary skills you unlock
Oh god that is terrible

Also if I ever faced you, i'd just let you face my armies of genies. You probably would still beat me but at least I'd lose laughing.

>In 3 you would always advance skills if you rolled a bad new secondary skill or pick the new secondary skill if its good. You would always go for wisdom, logistics, earth magic, etc.

5 did skills best. It was still RNG but almost every skill was useful and there was a progression system that didn't let you munchkin too much but also didn't dick you over.

> Sure it could use some work,
Yeah just like everything else in the game

>you need to get a real hero user, Maximus is ruined

Artillery skill allows you to control the ballista so it doesn't goes and shoots the enemy stack you just casted blind on.

And with that high primary skills, golden bow, and archery, the expert ballista does a few thousand pts damage per shot.

Sure, not muchwhen you have 20k marksmen next to them, but the point is that a hero stacked like that could steamroll anything with 1 unit anyway.

Actually since he has the Armageddons Blade, he could do that anyway with or without the ballista.

>What the fuck are you even doing this late in game?

Cruisin' the lands or Erathia like a pro.

...

>You cannot dismiss this hero
How unfortunate

that's why you don't bring a ballista and a good skill instead

Like I could conquer the world.

>the true reason behind the Shadow of Death campaigns

lvl 99 with only 8,5m exp?

You need to command the past first.

So he is conquering the past from himself?

Imagine if they all walk into each other getting entangled.

One big furious ball of writhing skeletons

It's motherfucking Kane, man. He is conquering the past, present, and future.

*tokyo drift theme increases*

And then he went to space never to return

C&C4 did not happen, user.

But in order to conquer the past he needs to control the past.
So all the events in Command and Conquer is about a man in his midlife crisis hating his past self?
Milliards of people died for this?

...

You can just tell that this motherfucker enjoyed the shit out of playing Kane

Who wouldn't enjoy playing a megalomaniac mastermind? Kane is practically the biggest James Bond villain in the videogame world, plus he has shit load of biblical and religious connections as well.

The Brotherhood of Nod is like the Imperium of Man from WH40k, but set in the 21st century. With cyborgs. And mutants.

JIJ KRIJGT DIE LACH NIET VAN MIJN GEZICHT

Did you know, Joe Kucan sounds nothing like Kane normally. The voice is a put on.

No. He just plans in advance for CENTURIES.

By pulling the strings in secret, he can shape the future into whatever shape he wants to, without anyone knowing better. And by changing the world in secret, he is slowly conquering the world that exists at that time.

It's an allegory of how he controlled the Soviet Union behind the curtains, only to further his own ends.

Or to put it plainly, he is just saying "History is written by the winners" in a different way.
