How can Star Fox be saved?

How can Star Fox be saved?

Being remade as a Star Fox themed X3: Albion Prelude

making a good game would be a start

...

Arcade Shoot Em Ups are dead.

The question is what kind of mechanics to people want to see in a future sequel. As we haven't strayed too far from the starting point.

...

Take star fox 64 as your template and work from there. Add 10v10 or 20v20 online multiplayer.

Kid Icarus Uprising 2.0.
Also no more rebooting the story and retconning characters since furries are the only audience still caring about this series

Just make a Mass Effect ripoff now that that series is dead.

...

...

Make a good game for the switch

Go for the open world meme. Fly around the Lylat System, do mercenary shit for monies/upgrading, get new members along the way, etc. You can throw in on-rails as a mission type.

Also expand on the Landmaster/On-Foot stuff from Assualt to be less shit.

By dumping Krystal porn.
Thanks

...

That could work!

only correct answer itt

Krystal a shit.
A SHIT!!

That's unironically my ideal SF game since Kid Icarus Uprising was the real sequel to 64 and there's no way we'll get Star Fox Vanquish.

Make a sequel to Assault, both gameplay-wise and story-wise. Improve on things, maybe remove Landmaster as a main vehicle so you focus mostly on improving air and on-foot combat.
Make multiple characters playable during the main campaign, who play a bit differently. Put in some kind of non-linear set-up to game, like branching paths or some kind of mission select, maybe even multiple endings. Try and give as much value to replaying the game as you can. It could kind of be like how Command works, except good.
Have the story be a similar tone to Assault. Make Miyu and Fay into regular characters now.

Sell to Disney.

Arcade shooters have no room in today gaming industry.

As long as 64fags and Miyamoto exist, it can never be saved

open world :^)

you need the memory card

remove shig

Go full Macross.

By improving on the stuff that Starfox Zero did well while avoiding its weaknesses. And not the weaknesses that casuals think of but the game's actual flaws. Its not Star Fox Zero's fault that casuals are bad at games and blamed the controls, its not Star Fox Zero's fault that fad chasers didn't want to play motion control games anymore despite them being much improved over thr Wii's because they moved on to the new fad of action rpgs with stiff controls like souls, nor is it Star Fox Zero's fault that people who aren't railshooter fans don't understand that the appeal and challenge of score attack games isn't just beating a level but beating it well. Instead they should make a Star Fox Zero2 with more levels, no distracting second screen view, and no non railshooter segments. They should make it on a budget more suitable to the niche style of game that railshooters are instead of trying to push it as a flagship title for everyone.

>Large, all-range maps.
>Switch between Armored Core on the ground and Ace Combat in the air.

nope

the gummi ship missions in kingdom hearts basically did starfox better than starfox does starfox

nintendo needs to add some depth to starfox if they want the series to live but I don't think they will.

Sad part is that if Star Fox 2 didn't get canned, that was the direction the series was originally headed in considering that game gave us literal GERWALK mode on Arwings.

Just make a new one as close to Starfox 64 as possible. A bunch of branching routes based on choices made in missions, simple controls, fast-paced lazer blastan, slippy being useless.

t. Nostalgiafags. 64 was not the end all be all for railshooters and was just the first one you played as a kid.

Railshooters follow a basic formula. Starfox is a basic railshooter. Do you really think that Nintendo will make a complex, off-the-rails railshooter?

Follow the old formula and just spruce it up a bit. That's what Nintendo have always done. It's pretty much worked so far.

Simply making a star fox game without gimmicks and release it for 20$.

Get rid of the On Rails and must make a Nintendo version of Ace Combat or Freespace.

This would work too.

Gay romance VN.

I really hope the dude making this keeps working on it.

>Lol just remake Starfox 64
That is what Zero was and you babbies shat on it.

stop remaking the same fucking game over and over, christ

at least Assault was somewhat different and it worked well

It was a good idea executed pretty poorly. Uprising basically did it right.

Some mass efect style game with kirishima touch.

Reskin KI:U with Starfox. And the franchise is saved.

...

market the darm game this time, make it have a different story with a different villain (like Assault and Command did, i say this as i post an Andross pic), more then just on-rails gameplay (though they should keep it for when traveling to planets), and give it both local and Online Multi player.

Size can be fucking terrifying. Goddamn that's cool

KIU was gonna be a SF game until Sakurai remembered that he brought back Pit just for Brawl and why not use that?

And then the title will be Star Fox Macro!

This is a joke about how searching "star fox zero" would autocomplete to "star fox zero suit" when it was just announced. I have to explain the joke because you never get it.

>wanting Kid Icarus's jap lottery bullshit for weapons to infect Star Fox
>liking Kid Shitterus style level design that can be beaten by flying in a circle the whole time

>Being too much of a scrub to play on harder difficulties for better gear or learning the fusion chart
>Implying that isn't ALL rail shooters

I wouldn't recommend anyone google image search "Star Fox Macro"

>How one Korean's fetish game is so strong it taints all searches for Star Fox

I'm not sure if I should call him a legend or a monster at this point.

Well all things considered he'd probably appreciate the label. You might even say he'd be big on it.
