people don't really play 2 for it's story, and I don't think have played PSO in general for story since the original one ended. Nobody talked about story in Universe or zero anyway.

Episode 2 wad only released on GC (1&2Plus is the best version) and PC (Blue Burst, includes episode 4 but can't be played offline, except if you set up a server emulator on your PC).
Most of my time on PSO was offline, the game still is pretty fun as a single player game.
