It's pretty awful, to be honest. Doesn't help that the animations are hit and miss on the synching. Like Wuxia-tier hit and miss.

after reading opinions online who claimed "don't play xc2 if you dont know the plot of1", and lacking material time to play even trough half of 1st, i've read the plot online thinking it would be something as bland as xc2 beginning(mind im only at chapter 4 currently and so far the plot is terrible).
I regret it so much. The plot is genuinely good. Id still play a switch port but wouldnt be the same of playing 1 knowing nothing i guess.
lip synch is terrible, and all voices have incredibly thick accents and sometimes they don't even try to render the right emotions.
Somehow they grow on you tho
