I just got done watching the "not Junpei uhhh not Yosuke" blonde faggot get his persona and I'm bored out of my FUCKING mind, none of these characters are interesting and everything take a fucking year to do
It's weird, the game doesn't really even start until around 20 hours+ in to it. I was captivated right away though, it feels like fulfilling your Jap fantasy of living in a crowded back alley and going to school. Idk man if you don't like it already you're gonna have a slog since it's like 100 hours long.

It's not going to get "interesting" unless you are invested in the universe/characters/plot. The intro and the bits in the police department are some of the worst the game has to offer and downright ruin the story though.

I forget how many days you have but you can find SP recovery items, but a full restore would require resting. Keep collecting stuff because some items that do recover SP may not seem like they do, like some of the food items around town.
For the first palace, you have about two weeks to finish it, but you need to have it finished about two days before the deadline so that you can send a calling card then take the treasure, both which use up one day each. Check your calendar to see the exact date you need to finish by.
As for SP, the only way to restore it is by using items or going home for the day.
The funny thing is it's all downhill from there. Kamoshida's the best part of the game. Quit now while you still have a chance to return it.

Many days have events and can take real world hours if you are doing the infiltration stuff.

it's actually not even really a full year. In most cases, entire months are skipped, usually after the final boss.

p5 sucks until the second playthrough when you have maxed stats and can breeze through the game just having fun not caring about studying or playing baseball or eating burgers

not really. That's a part of it. You have a dungeon to clear one a month with a deadline and on top of that you're trying to raise social stat points or hang out with people.
The pacing in the game is absolutely horrid. The game doesn't pick up until after the first dungeon, as it's one giant glorified linear tutorial. As soon as it lets you go out in the evenings is when the game got fun for me.
Admittedly, I don't browse it because I've been told it's youtube comments the website. I actually don't have a good reason not to give it a shot.
That said, I probably won't.
I'm pretty sure 25% of the persona 5 is watching Joker slowly run after a battle with his teammates coming in.

Oddly enough, the most enjoyable part of the game is the daily routine outside the palace. That is 80% of the game.
I don't browse it becasue of the format being unappealing.
