guilty gear?
>what is Brutal Legends
>what is essentially Mega Man
>what is DOOM
etc etc
Do the Xenoblade games' battle music jump from rock to metal? Or do they still just classify as rock. Love it either way.
DOOM?
Brutal legend thread?
Lionwhyte did nothing wrong
>what is guitar hero
user please, your embarrassing yourself
brutal legend was cool for what it was, however some game mechanics where clunky especially the RTS game
nocturne
i wouldn't want today's double fine to make a sequel
Literally 70% of JRPGs have metal battle themes or boss themes.
It happens though, just not very often.
I think that animu game tales of beseria has metal music too
Personally i enjoyed the RTS element of it, but i understand why some people didn't like it all that much.
Absolutely agree
>heavy metal
congratulations, you got me hooked niggers
Think they just classify as rock/hard rock. Closest you can get is Mechanical Rhythm.

>heavy metal
Xenoblade's battle themes all classify as power metal, not hard rock.

>crust
>hardcore
>metal
I've never been huge on Jap metal, but I'll give ya that Boris is alright, and the Church of Misery is fucking awesome. That's definitely their best album too.
The way japanese people sing and the language itself makes itself for really shitty metal.
Also your example is not helping the case at all
>crust isn't a hybrid of hardcore and metal like grind and thrash are
there's not a single punk riff on this song, it's all metal riffs

>Boris
>sludge metal
And into the trash the chart goes.
If crust isn't metal, then grindcore isn't metal
>listening to Encyclopedia of serial murders while reading Noktorn's review
>DooM
>pretty much every russian FPS
>Metal Gear Revengeance
Metal is great until the faggots open their mouth
>Lionwhyte did nothing wrong
He did many things wrong
I like an excuse to post this
>muh vocals
kill yourself
they literally scream like dying faggots, its embarrassing to hear this shit
i know im also a soyboy who is threatened by loud noises
Nuh-uh
Are you an old lady? I've only heard this opinion form grandmas.
FEATURING
BJORN
"SPEED"
STRID
They also often do that thing where they add spastic electronics and extremely saccharine female vocals so it just ends up sounding like a generic anime opening
Hardcore punk and extreme metal are so intertwined with eachother it's fucking ridiculous, they both influenced eachother and overlapped with eachother and sounded similar during the 80s so it's worth recommending hardcore when you're recommending metal.
>pioneering extreme metal album was mistaken for a punk album when it came out

>no painkiller
I could beat both you soyboys with my arms tied. When your balls drop you will understand how gay and retarded metal vocals sound.
If someone posts something, you're just gonna say "That's not real metal :DDD"
I actually like some metal, but metalheads are the fucking worst. As if shit gets downgraded from "metal" to "rock" just because it got more talentlessly heavy as time went on.
>complains about "screaming"
>thinks hes a grown up
oh let me guess you hate rap and country too
All vocals are just faggots talking over the actual music

I can sort of relate. I still have trouble listening to a lot of metal bands because I don't really care for how they sing or how some try to distort their voices.
I would personally recommend listening to Dio. If you can't stomach even him, the voice of metal, then metal just might not be for you. That or listen exclusively to instrumental stuff, like Yngwie.
Or any power metal band ever
I was once in the same boat, I've found just listening to more of it made me tolerate it and eventually like it. Start out with shit like Pantera or any swedish melodic death metal band.
