The only people that complain about it are the people who are angry they were caught and can't get away with it again or the people who have yet to own up to their own responsibility. You cheated in a game where your actions affected someone else's gameplay experience. You have no one but yourself to blame.

People were cheating in such a way that when they killed someone it also instantly gave them a shit ton of souls which flagged their accounts for cheating and the game was VAC secured. Basically you could be invaded, attacked by someone moving lightning fast before you can disconnect, and you got a fresh VAC ban. The butthurt over it was immense.
