My biggest problem with skyrim is how no matter what you play/ your build...you always need to be a stealth ranged character unless you want to carry infinite potions and pause every 2 seconds.
Otherwise you have to cheese the crafting skills to make God weapons which also feels cheaty af.
Those are the only 2 builds.
>Skyrim
Hahahahahaha
user doesn't know about the sword and board master race.
You can literally fix all of that with mods
Fuck your virgin stealth archer playing ass
>Playing vanilla
Grab one of the big overhaul mods (Perma, Ordinator, or Requiem if you hate yourself), they fixed that problem for the most part. Vanilla skyrim's balance was trash.
>Heal slut
>Whiterun
>CBBE bodyslide
>you always need to be a stealth ranged character
Wrong. My last play through, I purposefully didn't use a bow and didn't do stealth. I played a necromancer. If you do it right, you can have your own personal army.
>Favorite build?
Destruction mage (with mods of course).
>Favorite town?
Markarth, because the Temple of Dibella is there.
>Favorite mods?
- Anything that fixes magic scaling.
- Dynamic Potions, for providing simple potion rebalancing.
- Categorized Favorites Menu.
- Interesting NPCs.
- Transmogrification.
What's with all the Skyrim threads lately? I thought Sup Forums hated Skyrim?
>being THIS BAD at video games
I feel sorry for you...
These threads consist of 3 things
>Bullying vanillafags
>Degenerates
>Modding the game until is unrecognizable
But yeah Skyrim is crap even with mods.
how to get a slooty good looking skyrim already setup. I wasted many hours a couple years ago trying to get it setup but i couldn't. Is there some download where it has all the mods already or something?
It's really not that hard user.
easy to start hard to get it as good looking as the people who post pics on /tesg/ or wherever
>those fucking shoes
>Is there some download where it has all the mods already or something?
hahahahaha
these people
you people
I hope that weapon applies fear on hit.
2 handed Orc monster is fun
Riften is the best city
Extra armor mods or improved perks and leveling
Most of them use ENBs specifically for screenshotting. It's like an instagram filter, doesn't look good during gameplay.
>Spend fucking days modding skyrim
>It hits me that I never liked Skyrim, the very core of the game turns me off
>Spend more time modding skyrim
I think I'm autistic guys.
I only play on Legendary and the only mod I use is Survival. You're categorically wrong. My last two builds:
Breton Paladin. Uses one-handed and alteration. Magic Resistance perks, racial bonus and Lord Stone have him Magic Resistance capped and Alteration skin spells keep him armor capped. Easy as hell to go running in with the Dawnbreaker and killing shit. The small damage that leaks through my capped resistance is a small heal spell at the end of combat.
Nord Werewolf. Ring of Hircine is infinite changes per day, Totem of Brotherhood keeps Werewolf spirits up enough to distract multiple enemies while you ragdoll dangerous spellcasters and pick off archers.
>Mod self to be ygnord
>Camera is still at regular height
WRONG
Blocking is literally broken in the game with a shield equipped. Most combat mods increase its usefulness even more. My first playthrough was nothing but sword and shield with barely any healing necessary.
>Favorite Build
Monk, Berserker, Sorcerer
>Favorite Town
Raven Rock and Skaal Village are comfy.
>Favorite Mods
Ordinator, Skytweak, Enhanced 3rd Person Camera, Frostfall, among others
If you haven't figured it out by now, do yourself a favor and quit.
Spellblade or sword/shield
Ordinator has a perk where you can store a destro spell into the blade and it discharges when you swing. Shit's neat.
I have a problem with blocking. I spam attacks too much to patiently block an attack, swing once, sit there holding block until they attack, patiently swing again, go back to blocking...
Perma has a version of this as well, you can cast the spell in your left hand by swinging your sword. Makes dagger or short sword mage really fun.
I've spent more hours modding skyrim than I've played many other games and let me tell it is the easiest thing in the entire fucking world to do.
Download mod organizer
download skse
Download mods
Insert slot B into hole A
Play the game
pretty sure there's a mod that changes the camera to your specific liking
I DO THE SAME FUCKING THING
THEN I DELETE IT ALL
THEN I DO IT AGAIN
This.
me on the right
>stealth archer meme
get the fuck out reddit
two hander here to hold my bigus dongus
Whats the best overhaul mod for re balancing?
Nice Redoran watch helm.
Yeah, it's the *shoes* that are the problem.
There is: Customizable Camera. You can even use it to adjust the FOV.
>I have a problem with blocking. I spam attacks too much to patiently block an attack, swing once, sit there holding block until they attack, patiently swing again, go back to blocking...
They made blocking suck because you can't cancel attacks. Reaction time is too slow for it to be that useful. You need a mod that makes blocking cancel attacks.
That's when sword and board gets punchy and dynamic for it to be fun.
Ordinator's version works even with two-handed weapons, though. I took it on my mage character because swinging a quarterstaff to shoot a spell was very fun and magey.
man this is a bullshit skyrim thread yall niggas know im here for thick 3D bitches.
Sword and Board
Riften
Mods we don't need no stinkin mods.
does SKSE work with SSE? I"m thinking about picking it up on sale rn but I need to know this first.
I honestly wish I was as cool as you user
Ya wana know how I know you're gay?
No
They had it working before bethesda put out the creation club patch. So you'll need to roll back your SSE.
>tfw Restoration playthrough with Ordinator and Apocalypse
I don't think I should be hitting enemies like a truck with that school.

Would take an hour to list all my favorite mods but here are some examples:
Sexlab Amorous Adventures
Bijin
Ordinary Women
UUNP
Immersive Wenches
am i better off just redeeming a legendary edition code?
Spotted the Goa'uld.
>That alien rectangle face with pitch black eyes and thin ass lips that are disproportional
>clipping hand
>leaning on a broken wrist
>those pointless aladin shoes that are floating above the ground
How good is the Morrowloot mod with added equipment? VIGILANT adds a fuckton of new items and I really don't want to see draugr overlords walking around with Pelinal's or Jyggalag's swords.
>favorite build
None becuse i always end up using sword+shield
>favorite town
Riften
>favorite mods
Spooky scary skeletons mod.
youtu.be
I have a theory about this: The TES formula is a fantastic idea for a game. Everyone sees the potential that's currently going to waste, and that drives us to keep modding the game again and again even if we don't really like it, because on a subconscious level, we think that if we can just find the right combination of mods, we can make the game fulfill its potential. The game has some hardcoded limitations that probably make that goal impossible, but there are enough things that *can* be modded to make us think that maybe we can circumvent those limitations.
Putting Morrowloot below VIGILANT should fix that, because its leveled lists will take priority.
Doing a Dunmer monk build right now with Arcane Fist and Unarmed Helper. Pretty cool using Quarterstaffs and Katars.
Not enough games have quarterstaves.
