Forza horizon 3 is fun, especially the hotwheels dlc
you should have bought an xbox one x instead
I sold my Xbone back in June for a PS4 but just bought the One S. Plan on selling my PS4 for a Switch when the Bayonetta comes out.
There's just something slightly unpleasant about using the PS4, like a subpar cup of coffee that you don't enjoy drinking but isn't bad enough to dump out. At least XBL doesn't seem to have so many ornery little kids.
Sounds like you're in for fun times user.
Why the S though? Be a man and get the X.
Some reports are floating around that the X1X sold roughly 800,000 units in four days.
>sold roughly 800,000 units in four days
That sounds like something that could be true. But it of course does not help when the following few days saw no Xbox sales.
So you want to go from exclusives to literally no games again? Hmm
He's just a CrapGamer, cum guzzling fucktoy. Ignore him.
The Xbone has fuck all for exclusives, true. However, I gotta admit that their service as a whole is superior in regards to upload and download, as well as surprisingly good at other things. Not to mention it is a fucking HIVE of game leaks if you know where and how to snoop. Also has a better controller since they didn't add that touchpad. Touchpads that are mandatory should be punishable by death.
...
They just started the xmas sale today. $1 promo for a month of gold / game pass service. FYI Ninja Gaiden Black is in the lineup of games offered in that service.
No fh3 is great go buy cuphead and ori
I hope they do the Skate 3 deal again and a deal on KF2. By the way, Witcher 3 is simply amazing at 60fps for anyone who hasn't messed with it yet.
I forgot to mention the back compat. Totally useless if you've never owned an Xbox or a 360 and don't want their game pass adding another 15/20 a month to your bill. However, if you're like me and have a good two or so hundred across physical and digital it is a huge plus to know that some games may actually see real improvement. God, getting Lost Odyssey for free without 4 fucking DVDs was a godsend.
Nah, Xbox One S is a good deal because it's so cheap these days. No exclusives but if you want to play AAA normie titles it's a good deal.
Well if you spend $1 for a month of gold, you get gold sale prices. Skate 3 is $6.59 with the gold sub.
True. They got some good stuff even if you don't have any 360 games. $15 for the entire Fable trilogy right now among other decent deals.
PS4 has Bloodborne and that's it. Xbone has a better controller and better online. PS online is no longer free and all of the good exclusives from the last two gens are either dead franchises or multiplat.
Skate 3 was one of the Games With Gold a couple months ago.
BB isn't even the best exclusive on the PS4. I feel bad for actual mouth breathing Neanderthalic retards like you that can't actually think for yourself and can only regurgitate what you read about in memes online
I just went to the marketplace and it's listed for $6 and some change. Sweet. I've been wanting to play it since it's been enhanced.
also it's on EA access, which I got for $15 for a year on one of those CD key sites
worth it for Titanfall 2
eee
sup bros I only play fucking FIFA and skyrim a little bit of Destiny 2 but that's it
I'm waiting for RDR2 tbf
Why do they keep making sequels to failing franchises???
>en.wikipedia.org
Different game my man. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a gwg title in the future though.
Yeah I took advantage of the $1 game pass last month for ReCore and a few other games. I may actually pick up ReCore due to it's mechanics and world.
Im still good with my 360, but if i had to upgrade, it would be the one x. Im invested in microsofts ecosystem and would love to take my account of 11 years over. But enough of my friends dont have xbox ones and there is just really nothing this gen i want to play/looks good. Its pretty sad how i can play my 360 every day, either old classics or find something new on xbla, but i cant think of 5 recent games i want to play.
>Ninja Gaiden
I want to believe
If you have a soft spot for Halo, Master Chief Collection.
Korra is on sale for 3.75 and Transformers Devastation for 10 and a plethora of backwards combatible games so thats a bonus if you got 360 games. Honestly Xbone is starting to shape nice as a original and 360 machine but otherwise meh modern gaming just isn't for me I suppose.
I'm so glad Horizon is on PC cause it's one of my favourite racing game.
>tfw poorfag
$200 is the cheapest I've ever got a current(ish) gen console.
I only got an xbox one because me and my roommate grew up together. Riding my bike over to his house to make custom cars on Forza.
He never jumped to PC like I did. So when we started living together. I got an xbone so he could play it on console.
Otherwise it's my stream machine. Nice of them to share games between pc and xbone though.
I do find myself going back to the older games like Alan Wake, Bayonetta, Blops online, Fable 2, Dead Space, LO, N+, Shadow Complex and Street Fighter IV. BC really does make a difference when it comes to game selection and I can't believe how many people still play zombies and blops online. There were nearly 15,000 people on there the other night.
>Sea of Thieves release date: March 16, 2018
It's fake
Im poor to but i dont really buy a lot of things because nothing interests me and games give me the best value for money. So a one x, while pricey at $500, i know it will give me at least 500 hours of fun and way more beyond that
xbox.com
Log into your accounts here to see how many hours youve played this year, rank percentiles, most played games etc. I have 1600 hours played this year on a 360. I dont think it tracks single player games because I played a TON of sonic this year.
GIMME FUEL GIMMR FIRE GIME THAT WHAT I DESIIIIRE
In a lot of ways I feel the same way you do. I can't put my finger on it, but it felt like last gen struck a good balance between polished games and meaningful DLC releases to extend community longevity. I feel like more care and polish was put into games and that's not to say this gen has been a failure on that front, however, the lootboxes craze and the micro currency bullshit is really degrading the quality in games when they need to be designed around these revenue systems at the expense of good game play. EA's SWBF2 is the most recent egregious example of that problem. It offers such shallow game play, it might as well be a phone app retooled with fancier graphics for the console & PC markets.
The fact that companies are hiring psychologists and creating algorithms to scientifically induce people to participate in micro transactions out of frustration says it all. I chalk it up to cancerous greed. Lately it seems to be consuming all media channels. Microsoft among other big names are trying to turn gaming into a service. Execs at MS almost didn't green light an Ori sequel because they couldn't figure out a way to monetize it with micro transactions. These are the people running companies churning out games today.
I've been playing Kotor and it runs pretty damn smooth. Got Blue Dragon last month, Lost Odyssey when it was given to everyone but haven't touched it much, Bayo, and really there's a fuckload of underrated games for Xbone/360. Was suprised as fuck Deadly Premonition got bc and if Saints Row2 was to get bc then I'd die happy.
Crackdown 1&2 better get bc when they finally release 3 even though 2 wasn't as good as 1.
Crackdown enhanced would make me very happy but I'm sure it'll be bundled or something. I hope they get around to enhancing all of the Horizon games because the first Horizon still holds up and has a good setting. Part of me wants to believe that that's the reason why the update is taking so long.
1 and 2 will almost certainly be back bundled or included wit 3 as 'HD' versions. Also, if that Dark Tide thing is actually based on the guy's short story it could be neat. Crimson Skies, NG and fucking DINO CRISIS are way more interesting. But a junky sailing game could be cool. If it becomes some fucking CYOA(not really lol) sorta game it can get fucked, though. Had enough of that shit with Telltale. I don't want some two endings total garbage.
>Blue Dragon
Have you played it yet? Might get it since it's on sale.
Is there a sale going on right now? I searched the xbox store and there's no banner or anything but a big banner for pubg.
Thats a huge reason but another is that, i just dont feel the talented designers are there anymore. The only new games so far this gen i have wanted to play are cuphead and ori and the upcoming ori 2. Greed and sjw politics are just at their highest point right now and as an outsider, someone perhaps a little older than the average game player today, its really sick. Bungie and epic used to have good quality DLC for modest prices. Sega offered quality DLC, like an expansion pack for Phantasy Star Universe, or a ton of new and modified levels for Sonic Unleashed, or a new track and character for Sega and Sonic All Stars Racing. Smaller games like Marble Blast Ultra, Boom Boom Rocket, and Hydro Thunder had cheap DLC that added just that extra bit of oomph. Microsoft commissioned quality remakes of Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, rendering them at a sharp 720p over their extremely muddy and blurry 1998/2000 releases. Quality games like Catherine or Vanquish shipped complete with no DLC ever planned. Games like Ninja Gaiden 2 and Crackdown hit hard and had free or cheap DLC on the side that only added. Rockstars expansions were always solid.
Everything was just a better time and sense of community. Of course you had jews like Activision and Guitar Hero/Call of Duty, EA, and fighting game DLC. But even EA was like a saint compared to today. Battlefield Bad Company didn't have conquest, so they made it as a DLC and put it up for free. The maps it came with weren't enough, so they let the community pick favorite campaign levels and retooled them for multiplayer conquest, again for free. Bad Company 2 had a ton of free DLC. Its a totally different world now, for everyone...
>barely cheaper to buy the GotY edition of fallout 4 than to buy the season pass without the game
Why are these greedy fucks trying to jew people that bought the vanilla game so badly? $40 for a season pass on sale is insane
Be warned that they probably didn't pay Toriyama much for his art because it's his most generic shit possible and they keep playing this god awful Deep Purple song for boss fights. It's basically Dragon Qurst for 360 but on the cheap, I got it for 5 bucks last month but it was worth it.
Honestly, I never visit the xbox store site cuz it's so scrambled. You can find a good summary of games on sale here:
>storeparser.com
Or visit the reddit sub /r/greatxboxdeals and there's usually a good summary of all the games on sale for both the XB1 & the 360. They miss some games though.
Everything has become way more money driven compared to 10 years ago. Look at the Hollywood, it's filled to the brim with superhero movies now and hardly any good original movies. Games are all sequels or remasters and music is at an all time low for creativity/originality
Nigga why? Hell I got 4 free because my friend gave me a copy he preserved for his girlfriend when it first came out and I could barely get into it other than base shit because that was strangely appealing despite being poorly implemented.
Shelter>4
Shelter was a cool little ant farm simulator that actually got fleshed out and is pretty underrated.
>talented designers
Actually I didn't think about this one, but you're totally right. Isn't the gaming industry notorious for the high burnout rate? It wouldn't surprise me if talent is being driven away by greed. Why would someone skilled invest so much of their time into a company when they'll be under paid and likely without a job once the game ships? The open world meme doesn't help.
Nice. There's about six or seven games on there that are tempting.
The only thing I enjoy is base building too funnily enough
Over-saturation, too. It wasn't uncommon during the eighties and nineties to have a five or so man team that would build games we now see as total classics. And there were a load of them. Problem is that we now have 600 man teams who are churning out generic games and being canned a few years later because they want to get paid a decent wage. You also have indies, who sometimes deliver really fucking quality products yet at the same time can be just as greedy as corporate. I mean shit, look at porn games as a direct 1 to 1. You got guys making MILLIONS and shitting out the ugliest cardboard. You have some goofy Dutch fuckers slap together string and a few LEDs and somehow they make a legitimately fun and well-crafted game on a budget of 60K. It is beyond silly.
>modern film
Fucking cancer and needs to be killed, thank fuck I prefer older movies else I'd fucking be braindead along with the rest of the plebs.
Good stuff still gets made today. Just don't be a lemming. Or a snob, because snobs make discussions suck, same as the willfully ignorant.
It's fun in a way but it's utterly pointless. I've only played NV and 3 on 360 so finally playing with mods on 4 did fuck all for me just added more corn fothe steaming shit.
Does anyone know if Mount & Blade has a dead online community? Looks like it could be fun for $5
I mean yeah but really it's just fucking boring and the shit that deserves sequels like Crank 2 don't get them. I just can't believe my nigga Del Taco got fucked out of a Pacific Rim sequel and the actually decent directors get shit on when the retards like JJ and this cuck Rian Johnson can just ruin shit.
It's not that big, but it's not dead yet
get it for PC, that game is all about mods
Xbone probably dead but pc you'll be fine.
Unironically this. It's still a piece of shit but you can at least play games at 1800p 24fps.
Who here had their girlfriend pick up their Xbox 1X?
Looks like she lifts bro.
Someone post that Boy George Sophie Turmer pic.
Is that shopped? I honestly can't tell.
should've bought a PS4. literally every single xbone exclusive is on PC as well Op. you're an idjut
I'm gonna buy a PS4 just for the Fist of the North Star game when it comes out.
>no money for top of the line gaming PC
>PS4 "exclusives"
you mean bloodborne? Not gonna buy a console just for one game.
Not everyone has a pc you dense faggot and only weebs care about ps4 exclusives
You don't have to be so hard on yourself, user.
Imagine being the guy who made that fake and the release date really was the 16th.
>you should have bought a ps4 because MS's games aren't on ps4 but they are on something else
you make us ps4 owners look retarded
