Is it worth it?

hahahaha
no

Why isn't it part of that battle gear edition or whatever

Yes

It's fun to binge on for a weekend on new seasons but that's it.

no lol

I love how virtually every Diablo 3 thread gets ignored completely or gets maybe 4-5 negative responses before dying. Is this the most universally hated game on Sup Forums?

>keep the base price of something unchanged for a long time
>lower the price with a "sale" to bring it down to what it normally would have been had they lowered the price with time like they used to
>retards act like it's a fucking bargain and eat it up

even Blizzard gave up on Diablo 3.

No it's shit

what are you stupid?
diablo 2 still exists

The game is fun but its become more of a solo experience where most players play by themselves and droprates are crazy high because of no trading.

The game is still good fun but not for the same reason Diablo 2 was good.

for a single season, I'd say yes, if you plan on playing different classes too.

the game has many flaws, but the biggest of them all was to release a full price game thats supposed to be played for many years, they probably lack budget to develop new things to add every season, like poe.
we're now up to season 10 or something, and besides the 'balance' changes they did constantly which are nothing but - add 5000% weapon damage to some skills - every season is the same since the first one.

Yeah, I'm aware of that you god damn imbecile.

I've played Diablo 2 when you were but a flicker in your father's astigmatic glance. I've played thousands upon thousands hours of it. And this is not a D2 thread.

Monopoly still exists. So do curling and cricket. And I'm not interested in any of them, nor did I make a thread about them. How fucking stupid are you?

I know it's not a bargain, Captain Autismus. If it was one, I wouldn't have made a thread inquiring whether it's worth it or not in the first place.

Guess it's about equal with Witcher 3. Everything that isn't Crap Souls or some otaku weeaboo titfest gets crapped on here.

Explain why.

necro has literally two builds
>ultra glass minion build that dies in one shot to literally anything
>or one exact same build on two different sets where 90% of the time you are waiting for cooldowns

worst class by far

Can I build a righteous demon smighting Paladin that looks and feels like a paladin instead of some multi-classed clown suit wearing jack of all trades character?

>instead of some multi-classed clown suit wearing jack of all trades character?
what do you mean by this

Well, yeah. I guess you can.

But that's all in the Reaper of Souls expo. This shit OP's asking about is literally a DLC with one fucking char included. Which apparently is necro.

they also add new zones and game mechanics, like challenge rifts, set dungeons, Kanais cube and so fucking on

>Is it worth it?
Not really, unless they've changed a lot since the launch.

Launch honestly kind of pissed me off. Lots of abilities were broken and you even had stupid shit like how the skeleton mages work that's really retarded and made no sense at all. Then one of the devs made a post and suddenly it made sense. He just outright said that, yeah, the reason they've done so many retarded things with the nec is because they wanted to make it different from D2's nec. Just for the sake of being different. Gotta put their own spin on it. The realization washed over me; they don't actually give a fuck. They'll deliberately do stupid things that people hate just to piss in the face of the D2 guys. Like, okay. Now it makes sense. I understand why things are the way they are now.

OP here.

Thanks for this. All I needed to know.

Mods, kill this shit.

This sale for ps4 digital or pc?

Both.

I've plaeyd every season till ROS and basically the game is very solid but it's ultimately just grinding. Some builds are legit fun for a while but it's very easy and everything is about just as strong as everything else. Little room for random builds but playing solo can still be enjoyable like any grindy game would if you like to listen to podcasts and stuff like that.

High end greater rifts can be challenging and really require you to stay focused and try many times to get that perfect RNG and setup, but it's never that retarded so you can always just reset and usually get a decent run.

I'd recommend it but you have to understand what it is or else you'll be mad you bought a grindy game.

I mean maybe, but like everything in this D3 you done within week maybe if you not playing 12 hrs a day. But really, you can easily try everything new class has to offer. You gain items so fast, leveling is non-existant and there is barely any challenge at all. Of course you can push grifts and grind thousands of paragon, but its so fucking boring and stale
